just had to post, came home from shopping and got straight into my fleecey onesie, weathers not nice house is baltic and nowhere else to go for the rest of the day.

anyway, just nipped to the loo (tmi coming up) and i am mid flow thinking ooh this wee sounds a bit weird. Go to wipe and tissue kind of gets stuck at which point i finally realise i have just been to the loo with my knickers on and fully in place

i'm not usually this silly (honestly!) anyone else?

I tried to open the fridge at work with my locker key, much to the amusement of my colleagues who were watching. ??

Ha he, I nearly did that yesterday, but thankfully realised before I started peeing. Actually thought how odd it would be to wet myself whilst sitting on the toilet :D

i was trying to tell dp and he said so you wet yaself? only then did it dawn on me that yes i guess i did!

wonder if its all the comfy pregnancy clothes making us forget were wearing underwear

Kept taking pregnancy tests up until week 8, as I just couldn't believe (still can't)

This week I went all the way to the supermarket, no cash on me, just my bank card, and totally forgot my number when I got to the cashpoint.

The shop couldn't put my card through so I had to walk home again with no shopping.

Today I went to check something in the oven and forgot to use an oven glove, I've burned my fingers.

I'm not safe at the minute.

oh gosh gogi i think you should put ur dp in charge of all tasks for the forseeable for your own health and safety haha. hope fingers are ok - ouch!

I'm 10 weeks now ginger, and only kicked the habit because I've run out of tests! Every time I go to Sainsbury's I 'accidentally' end up in the pharmacy aisle and then stand there in front of them tests thinking long and hard whether to buy another pair! It's all because my symptoms are mild and they also come and go which makes me panic (just like everything else!)

oohh congrats coming along nicely then. i have really mild symptoms too, had expected to feel ill and i know lots of people do but i just felt exhausted and a bit sick which was easily cured with food. oh sore nips too ha but not agony. im 14 weeks now and those symptoms are even lifting.

Lol. This is another silliest thing I did during my pregnancy has just happened. You just said you are 14 weeks... Alright can I just blame the hormones?

haha yes! i know some people dont believe in it but i like to think it is baby brain, ill be using that excuse for the next few months anyhow!

Oh, just remembered another one for you - happened only yesterday. Even thinking about it right now makes me giggle aloud. So, last night me and DP are cuddled up on the sofa, discussing us buying our first home together. We live in New Barnet. I would love to have a house/flat that has a balcony. So as we talk about the new building development near here, I say this: "Darling, just imagine how lovely it would be, we wake up on a Sunday morning, you make me a cup of coffee and we come out on the balcony, sit down, and we can see New Barnet walking..." I swear, we went into a laughing fit, we were actually crying.

Thank you ginger, yes I really hope so, especially now with the baby on the way. And the other thing, I confused again - I'm 9 weeks, not 10 (well week 10 starts tomorrow). Lol. Trust me, usually I'm not like that.... That's the baby brain in action.

Last pregnancy I took my toddler son to the supermarket in his buggy, met my husband there, got trolley, did shopping and left together in the car. Got home and realised I'd just abandoned the buggy somewhere in the shop. It was brand new in anticipation of the new baby as my son's had broken the month before. Was thankful it was still there when I remembered and went back for it as couldn't afford to replace it!

Same pregnancy, got a full trolley of shopping to the checkout, hadn't brought my purse. Had to call my DH out of work to rescue me and pay for it.

Later that same pregnancy, went out all day and found on my return I'd left keys in the front door. Luckily inside a block of flats so not visible from the street.

I'm grateful that pregnancy only lasts 9 months, goodness knows what I might have forgotten, given time

haha soot they are some funny stories. so glad buggy and keys were there once you remembered haha. oh gosh im only 3 1/2 months in sounds like im gona have a few weeing through my knickers moments.

I forgot how to make cheese on toast. I had a mega craving for it, told DH I was going to make some and wandered into the kitchen then just stood there with my mind totally blank. DH had to tell me what to do!

oh bus i did half a food shop the other week and walked out of the supermarket as dp answered i dont know one too many times! hormones!

haha forgetting how to make cheese on toast is pretty good! bet ur dp thought it was just an excuse so he had to do it for u
