Six months pregnant with my second daughter I decided our yellow and white house was too "Girly"{confused}?????; my Husband arrived home to find me up a ladder painting the gutters, I had already painted the entire outside of the house in its first coat and was doing the gutters and windows while I was waiting for the house to dry, needless to say he blew a gasket; screaming at me to "get down from there right now before you hurt yourself" I wouldn't get down until he promised to finish the painting, he ushered me inside all concerned to find gallons of paint and supplies, I had also decided that I hated the boring beige interior of our house and had chosen a radical new colour scheme, you should have seen the look on his face when the new tiles for all the non carpeted areas of the house arrived the next day Shock

I work in a care home and just before I went on my maternity leave I asked my co worker where one of our residents was. "She's here" she said. She was right in front of me being fed by my colleague. I was looking right at her whilst asking where she was!

This afternoon I was at MILs and was stood in the hallway. She asked me to get her folded wheelchair that was in the dining room. So I walked into the lounge and was so confused when I looked around and couldn't find it anywhere!

Five minutes later I was holding her phone, iPad and bottle of water while she got a bag to put it in. I put the iPad and phone in the bag. And was then looking around everywhere for the bottle when she said 'and the drink'. It was still in my hand.

I thought I'd escaped the baby brain!
