Gillian76 - very similar story here! Dds 1 and 2, conceived within days of deciding to do so (much to dh's disgust ), ds took three cycles, no. 4 we have been ttc since last November. I've got to the point now where I cry when I get AF - not pretty.

(am with you on the obsessing front, floss [smile}

Gillian76 · 25/09/2006 22:56

I often think of you Miaou on this subject. We are in the same boat

Hope it happens for you soon, especially as things seem to be working out on the house front!

harrisey · 25/09/2006 23:53

dd1 - first month
ds - 2nd month
dd2 - werent trying at all.

PinkTulips · 25/09/2006 23:59

dd - 2 years
ds - pregnant before first period after dd

serenity · 26/09/2006 00:07

DS1 - 1 month
DS2 - accident forgot that condoms don't work when left under the pillow......
DD - tried for 5 months, got pg then m/c, pg again 2 months later.

hunkermunker · 26/09/2006 00:18

Flossam, sympathy on falling down the stairs - are you OK?

When I got pg with DS1, I fell over - twisted my ankle really badly, went down really hard on my knee and hip and sobbed. Was in the middle of a Greek street - people came out of houses offering me water and bandages He was fine. So don't fret if you are pg - and if you're not, it won't be because you fell down the stairs x x x x

dd1 - i year - nearly a year, was on the verge of giving up..felt very stressed - also fell down stairs - broke toe but didn't know I was pregnant then - about 51/2 weeks I think (worked a long cycle and was pretty depressed
ds1 - an afternoon - when we said dd took so long if we want to be pregnant a year from now we should start thinking about it
ds2 - 4 months
dd2 - whoops - a drunken night!!

Gingerbear · 26/09/2006 00:43

Flossam, were you thinking of me being PG and not Gingernut?
DD- 2 months after coming off pill.
This one - almost 2 years and 5 lots of Clomid. I know what you mean about obsessing. I have spent DD's inheritance on OPKs, fertility tests, sperm tests and PG tests Also became weepy at onset of period every month, and started to see sex as a chore, not a pleasure.

Was reading in amagazine in the chiropractors about someone who fell 10,000 feet (failed parachute in skydive) when (unknown to her) a few weeks pregnant and the baby was just fine (although pregnancy with a broken/healing/newly healed pelvis was not fun). So if you are slightly pregnant I don't think a little tumble downstairs would make any difference, although probably not a great plan for any number of reasons...

Flossam · 26/09/2006 14:07

Aww thanks for all the reassurance. I don't think I am TBH - and I'm going to try thinking that way untill AF does/doesn't arrive so as not to get my hopes up now. GB - I don't think I knew you were pregnant - congratulations! GN was in my ante natal group and I felt sure she had only one (DS I think) while she was pregnant with her second.

Hunker - DP has installed Windows vista on the computer and I can't currently get MSN to work - how are you?

WriggleJiggle · 26/09/2006 21:07

dd - 1st time lucky
ds/dd - ttc at the moment, but still b/f and AF not returned yet so who knows what might happen?
