Maternity clothes - when did you start wearing them?

I'm just coming up to 12 weeks but I'm finding it unbearable having a waist line across my tummy because it's just so uncomfortable! I'm coping at work wearing dresses (although I can't pull my tights over my tummy and have to roll them down). My jeans don't fit but I can just about make it into my leggings. It just feels way too early to be wearing maternity clothes but this is my first pregnancy so what do I know! When did everyone else start wearing their maternity clothes?

Started wearing them about 20 weeks.. I have quite a bump at times and I am self conscious of my belly hanging out (mmmm stretchmarks! ) so my only real issue is tops long enough to keep everything covered bought one pair of underbump skinny jeans as I got really sick of only wearing leggings. Still rubberbanding my work trousers as they ordered size 20! Maternity and i could no joke fit 4 of me in them.so im wearing a very long very big (they ordered XL size I am only 12/14???) Maternity top from work. As they said that it will "have to do" and ill "grow into it" to cover up the trousers haha.
I could buy my own but why waste the monwy?

DC1 – 20 weeks.
DC2 – 12 weeks… although I'd have been v happy in then from 10 weeks as was really uncomfortable, but didn't want to give the game away!

I was into maternity jeans (under bump) by about 17 weeks. Am 30 weeks now and am in overbump ones! Still wearing non-maternity tops and dresses though if they're baggy enough.

H&M do fantastic overbump leggings that are so comfy and don't cut in at all. ASOS do cheap maternity tights that fit really well - I agree with MummytoMog, they are your friend! Topshop maternity clothes are lovely but quite expensive - I've got a couple of bits from ebay that were barely worn though.

Don't worry about when it's too soon - you want to be as comfy as possible! I'm into my jammies as soon as I get in the house at night and right through the weekend too Smile.
