I think I am pregnant ( 2+ tests!) but the tests have only been positive with strong urine and this morning I have started bleeding. Its not super heavy and its mostly a browny colour but there are spots of bright red blood. I am also having period type pains. Does that mean I am not pregnant any more?

I don't really know what to do now? Do I just leave it and assume that I had a chemical pregnancy or do i need to see my Dr?

Thanks for any help.

I'm sorry for your news Smurfgirl. This has obviously given you a lot to think about, and I hope you take the time to figure everything out.

Sending cyber hugs and best wishes your way x

just looked this up to find out what happened - hope you are doing ok.
I understand that you will feel really sad atm, but this gives you time to finish your nursing and you and dp to sort out the financial side of things and get married - hopefully next time you get pregnant you will be able to enjoy it without the worry you have had this time.

Been thinking about you , hugs etc

Hi, I have just found this site and would like to add that exactly the same thing has happened to me - but no bleeding. A GP confirmed initially that in his opinion I was pregnant as had a + test and pysical symptoms but a few days later had severe abdominal pains, sent to hospital by out of hours GP and Gynaegologist did another pregnancy test which was negative and she said I wasn't pregnant. No scans or anything and I have just been left to it. I have made appt to see GP next Thursday when she gets back from her hols to find out where I go/what happens next. You are not alone Smurfgirl as I know how you feel, grieve for your loss as much as you need to and hopefully one day you will have a happy, healthy pregnancy.
