...and fancy some company for the final countdown?

I'm due on the 24th. Sweaty, incontinent, and terribly impatient although I know I should be basking in these last few weeks of freedom :)

I haven't felt anything more today apart from the usual delightful pelvis stabs!
fingers crossed for you!

Just wanted to say hi. Due in 5 weeks and driven demented by this weather. Bring on the rain!!

moominmaiden · 13/07/2013 19:15

Fingers crossed, hydihey! I had the same yesterday, but alas, they went away again :(

However there is a large thunder cloud glooming over my house at present. If the storm breaks I think I shall go stand in it!!

Something was going on last night as I too was woken by intense period cramps. Of course it's meant nothing though.

The heat has defeated me today. Stopped myself bawling midway down the road as I just couldn't handle it any more. I've had enough and just want one cool day! God I feel like such a whinging Brit! X

moominmaiden · 13/07/2013 23:39

It must have been the moon Grin

Actually ... I haven't noticed a full moon in ages, despite long hours spent staring out of bedroom window as DH sleeps soundly (and standing up next to the bed when restless legs are are playing up. It's a good job he is asleep as it must look like I'm auditioning for a part in the next Paranormal Activity!).

One measly Braxton Hicks today...

Haha 'Auditioning for a part in the next Paranormal Activity' moom that's funny!

Oh Braxton Hicks are the devil, been having them all day long and a few cramps. I want the real thing so bad now. My DP wants that silver coin you can get if you give birth the same time as Kate!
Something tells me this baby ain't budging for some coin!

Oh and my neighbors are currently having a bloody party and blasting crazy ass music. I have turned into a crank. I am up at nearly 3am, sipping on ice cold milk because of heartburn and listening to their racket. I'm losing the will!

LittleMilla · 14/07/2013 07:54

Also had intense baby twinges again last night, along with noisy fecking neighbours! Barely slept at all actually and been up with my toddler since 6am to give DH a lie-in for once

I too am just hoping that with every cramp and pain that this is it. Weirdly enjoyed last night's uncomfortableness as I thought things were kicking off (again)0.

Isitme1 · 14/07/2013 09:18

I suppose the crampa and pains we are all getting are doing something! When I 1st started with them I was inhhospital for bleeding and the week before baby wasn't engaged and that day theu thought they lost babys head lol it was that far down! They had to give me emergency scan in that room.
So hopefully it's not all just bh.

Hope someone gets one of them coins lol

It's too hot! Had a terrible night of sleep due to a combination of heat, heartburn, baby kicking me every time I nearly dropped off, and dreaming of waters going amidst growing twinges... which have all stopped!

Any babies to report from the weekend? Have an afternoon cinema date with a friend today so either sod's law will be invoked and will go into labour or I get to sit in an air conditioned cinema for a couple of hours :)

I was getting all smug about not suffering in the heat.....until Saturday night. That and last night were not nice. Although i think it would have still been as bad if i wasn't pregnant, i just would have been able to laying in a more comfortable position whilst hot!

Ive still got 6 weeks so no twinges for me yet. Still need a few more weeks to get myself sorted yet! One thing i am suffering from now is baby brain. I never believed it was a real thing before but the last couple of weeks my ability to multi task has left me completely! Im starting to worry my house will not be ready if i can only do one thing at a time!
