Am 11 weeks pregnant and had a browny discharge this morning and again when I got to work and am a bit worried. Is it better news that it is brown and not bright red?

As it happens I have an appointment with the midwife so I can ask her this afternoon but am a bit panicky.

Can they test for a heartbeat this soon? Don't have my scan until Feb 11 and don't think I can wait and worry that long.

Yes it is. I think that's why I'm so bl**dy anxious!!

You'll probably feel a bit more relaxed once you get to the magic 12 weeks. I hope it all goes smoothly from now on.

Sorry to let everyone know but I had another miscarriage last week so I have now had two and am starting again. Thanks for all the advice and for making me feel a bit better.
Hope to be pregnant again soon third time lucky.
Best of luck to everyone.
Love Diddums

Oh that is so sad, diddums, I'm so sorry. Take care, hon xx

Diddums - so sorry. I found the Miscarriage Association excellent after my miscarriages. If you need to talk there are some excellent miscarriage threads on mumsnet and plenty of support from us if you need it.

Take care.

Oh Diddums, I am so sorry. It's sh*t isn't it. E-mail me if you want more of a chat and we can offer each other big hugs!

Diddums. I am really sorry. One mc is hell, two goes beyond that. I had my second miscarriage last OCtober and it took me a very long time to come to terms with it. I'll find the thread for you, I had loads of support from Mumsnet. I am now pregnant again (only 4.5 wks) and looking forward rather than backwards. Take care. Bunnyxx

Hi Diddums .. (((hug)))
Did you see the thread on alternative ways to conceive - on the home page.
Reflexology is supposed to be good and acupuncture - and not only for conceiving but also for helping prevent a mc

Link here

Good luck with third time lucky.

Thanks everyone for all your thoughts etc and all your advice especially bunny2. I am okay apart from this week someone at work told everyone that she is six weeks pregnant, I know she is excited but that didn't help. I am getting my bloods tested by the doctor who has been extremely supportive as she always is. I will keep in touch and let you all know how it's going.
Love to everyone Diddums

Hi Diddums, good to hear you sounding positive. What blood tests are you having?
