I am thinking of a safe place to discuss issues pertinent to those carrying extra weight - clothes shopping, weight gain, additional tests and scans, potential concerns about labour etc. Any thoughts?

Hi! :) a Christmas baby will be lovely! My birthday is December and its nice but a long time to wait for presents having birthday and Christmas in same month!

How are you finding pregnancy this time round? This is my second but i also have a step son so this is much more tiring than with my son who is now 5!x

vixreyland I had a similar experience at scan. Sonographer was nice enought but had the reduced resolution due to BMi etc on notes. Did make me feel that if there's a problem thet didn't find it would be my fault.
Just been watching a programme on discovery health "obese and pregnant".
Although effect spoiled by dh saying words to the effect of "well you had got big too before pregnancy". Yeah thanks for your support.

York67 that's exactly how i felt like it was her saying well if anything is wrong and i didn't see its your fault for being fat! on my notes she put that she had seen all the vital bits on the check list but i didn't feel very re assured!
She did say she had lots of difficult babies to scan that morning and it was past lunch time so she seemed in a hurry too!
But i had a private scan two weeks later that was perfectly clear and you could literally see everything!

Aww sometimes men just don't know what they are saying do they! Especially to a hormonal emotional pregnant woman! When i complain about my bump or aching swollen boobs i get told well you are making a baby! Cheers like i didn't know! Lol
