Getting pregnant while using condoms

I am a bit worried I might be pregnant. I have a DS and a 10 mo DD and have only had sex once (this month) in the last seven months cos DD has been such an atrocious sleeper. We used a condom and it didn't split or come off but now I am on day 40 of my cycle and, apart from a bit of a sore back and the occasional twinge, no sign of my period. My longest cycles since DD have been 34 days and I'm really starting to worry.
Is it possible to use condoms correctly, all appear to be OK but then get pg?
Being pg would be a bit of a disaster.

Yes ,I got pregnant whilst using condoms and nothing appeared to have gone wrong with the condom . I seemed to have been super fertile when young . It only took one go and two goes with my previous children too !
