Did anyone get pregnant following acupuncture?

Hello - have shuffled over from Conception as I thought you actually updiffed ladies might be better placed to help on this one . I have my first acupuncture appointment on Monday, having read good things about it (like this) helping those of us having a touch of difficulty with the whole "getting pregnant" lark. However, I have now read something (this) which seems to suggest it might actually be a waste of time and money. I know that relying on some "Guardian v Telegraph" debate on the benefits is probably not the wisest course of action, but I hoped that someone here might be able to tell me either good or bad stories about acupuncture to help with conception? Thanks so much.

I went to see a lady who was Zita West trained but went for general health and wellbeing (a bit stressed/ work and life etc) and said that was trying to get pregnant and 4 months later found out I was pregnant. Whatever worked I don't know and don't care but wanted to be as well and healthy as I could be whilst trying to conceive. Now 27 weeks Anything within reason is worth a try. Good luck x

I did, but sadly my pregnancy ended with a mc. This time (3 years later pregnant 3 days after coming off the pill) I didnt have any and still got pregnant.

I would recommend giving it a try, it isnt painful and I believe it does help a lot of people, we were just very unlucky with our outcome

Yes, absolutely yes... and it was very unexpected for me.

I was having 3 months of acupuncture just to help my body to to become "healthier" and I got pregnant even "outside my cycle... " must have had a second ovulation as I knew I had one in the middle of the month.
I conceived on the 29th day of the cycle.

I can highly recommend acupuncture
