I agree Petalouda. Lydia has just had my dream birth! Not that it'll ever happen to me.

Contrary to what virtually everyone else on this thread thinks, flat on my back is the only way I can do birth. It doesn't happen any other way for me...

That was lovely much better than last weeks!!!Had me smiling and crying and not wanting to mute anyone!!!

Oh gawd, Lydia has set the bar pretty high! She looks like a swimsuit model doing an unusual photographic shoot!

BUt what a lovely episode though - three chilled-out women lucky enough to have supportive blokes in their lives. All three made it look pretty easy, really.

Phew. Rollercoaster, though...

lydia was soo fantastically controlled the whole way through, i was petrified about dying when i had my first and totally lost control of the situation, not by sreaming but nothing went how id hoped and this time im determined to be more like her

Saw this last night, seemed to be a complete antidote to last weeks theme! If I can be half as controlled as Lydia and look half as good [vain smiley] I'll be a happy women

I actually love watching the labours and prep myself on what is about to come in 4 weeks' time when I will be delivering my first one! Actually looking at the girls I think the labour seems to be less bad than in my imagination (which was really really bad).

I am really impressed some girls (esp the ones last night) was coping so well and looked visibly relaxed.

I am watching the last season on 4OD now and almost half way through.

After watching last nights episode I gave decided to be much more dignified this time round. Those women were so brave!

I am resolved, unlike last time round, not to swear, be abusive to DH or moo.

Lol, wonder how long that will last!
