DD6 night time advice

DD6 has been dry in day since she was around 2. At night she is in pull ups as she has been a heavy sleeper and wet a lot. DS9 is on medication for night time enuresis and thought she may be the same, although she does have dry spells of a few days, unlike DS.
However about a month ago she started being dry at night. She doesnt drink after 6 and is great at doing to the toilet before sleep and will wake up in the night. I put her in knickers and she wet the bed. I put her back in pullups. This happened before about 6 months ago.I think the feel of the pull up is a comfort thing.
Any suggestions of how to be successful with the knickers?

It's probably not a comfort thing, it's a safety net, she is more at ease with the pullup as there is no pressure.

I would put a pair of knickers on under her pull up for a while.

They make them for up to age 15 for a reason.

Let her wear them and don’t worry about it.

It might be a laziness or comfort thing.

I had the same issue (now resolved) and it turned out to be with my DD (same age as yours).

I had a thread on it in which a continence advisor posted saying that some children will want to wear Pull-Ups for laziness/ convenience/ comfort, which had not really occurred to me before.

In the end, pure unashamed bribery got DD to give up the Pull-Ups and stay dry!

If this is still an issue for you, can I recommend cloth training pants as a compromise between Pull-Ups (which, let’s be honest, look feel and sound just like a nappy without tabs) and going cold turkey.

If it was me would continue with the pull ups, make sure she is on the toilet right before bed and only put the Pull Up on as she’s getting into bed. Don’t lift her or anything but make sure the Pull Up is off first thing in the morning. Like someone has mentioned they are meant for up to 15yr olds and it’s not something that can be trained so why rush it.
