no1putsbabyinthecorner · 09/09/2009 20:22

Evening ladies.
Test was negative, will leave testing till next week if Af does not show in next few days.

I am trying to lose myself in my book, but dh has come home from work early to watch the football.
So has the light off now.

Hoping to collect my pony on saturday

I am attempting to pull a horse box for the first time.

sazzles

Sorry you didnt get the call you wanted today. Sounds a lovely afternoon though.
When do you get the carpets??
I love the feel of new carpets before the pile gets squished.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 09/09/2009 20:25

hotter hope dd has settled. My two have settled again straight away for last few nights. what is going on?

Oh and ds slept 12 hours last night, no wakes up top ups. How strange, but good.
DD however did not sleep through, she woke once.
How are you albs? ts what you said earlier made sense.

pmsl yes much safer.

Miamla · 09/09/2009 20:31

hi no1

hotterpotter · 09/09/2009 20:34

DD finally settled then 5 mins later DS started wailing he has a temp poor poppet, although I do not have a thermometer and only know 'fine', 'a bit hot', 'calprofen' and 'eek doctors', I would say he is halfway between 'a bit hot' and 'calprofen' so will see what the evening brings.

No1 how do you feel about your neg? Relieved or a bit gutted? Good luck with the horsebox

Well all quiet upstairs so should really go and do my hot mama duty on the exercise bike [yawn] but I have just managed to get on and do up (without lying down) DH's new 32" waist shorts, which may not sound much to you skinnier girls but is and to me so need to keep up the good work.

Miamla · 09/09/2009 20:38

hi hots
well done on getting Dh's shorts on! hope DS recovers quickly

DS has got his first molar!!! i hadn't realised teeth arrived in such a strange order!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 09/09/2009 20:46

Hi miamla

hotter poor ds, I have been dosing with neurofen past couple of days due to ds being a bit hot. I always do the buckets kiss test.
Hope his temp comes down and he is ok.

I feel quite relieved, due to arrival of new pony, things being a bit difficult with dd accepting ds, so would hate to push her needs further away.iykwim.
I also do feel a bit not but odd.
Maybe because an 'accident' would be my only way of having another dc.
I know that is the wrong way to go about it.
However it does take two, and perhaps dh might be more careful now too.
Although he still would not have the snip.

Just feel a bit that he has not said one word or asked how I feel about it.

Miamla · 09/09/2009 20:50

sazz not sure i'm alking to you at the moment I AM NOT CRAZY but... keep forgetting to say about how sweet i thought DD1 was with her different types of kisses! i told DP and he was cross i couldn't remember them all!

no1 sorry to hear dh not supporting you at the moment

Exercise bike woke DS up so have given that up for tonight Instead I am pulling loads a few hairs out that I missed when I was waxing

No1 I'm sure that around half of all babies born were an accident as far as the men were concerned, doesn't mean they don't grow to adore the little blighters. Think you are right that you have a lot going on at the moment that being pg might not be such a good idea, but your womb is young and there's still plenty of time for more 'accidents'

Miamla at a molar. DS still only has 8 front ones, he hasn't had a new tooth for months, maybe that's what's up with him tonight...

Sazz that is so sweet of DD1

oopsacoconut · 09/09/2009 21:16

Evening ladeeeees

DD had her 12month jabs today and the nurse was a little when I said DD couldn't have the chocolate buttons she gives all the post jab babies. She proceeded to question why I didn't want her to have any as 'they are only chocolate and will take her mind off the hurt' I offered a boob instead and made nursey even more that I was still feeding!

Sazzles - I like DD's kisses list. Will keep everything crossed for you tomorrow.

No1 - Glasd you tested and hopefully gave DH enough of a scare to make him think long and hard about his contraception choices!

Miamla - Hi

Hots - well done on the shorts, I have a fab pair of 32in waist levis that I am storing for a skinny day!

DH came home early and we walked into town - DD has developed a love for froth only babyccinos and she sqealed with excitement when we walked into Costa. The woman gave her a spoon to eat it with and we had a very happy little girl until we got home and she is off her food and a touch snotty so was off to bed earlyish and has finally settled after much whimpering and cryong out.

Hi LOTI, Buckets, Poppy.

Dizzy - hope work isn't too bad.

TwilightSurfer · 09/09/2009 21:30

LOL! I remember when a friend was chatting with DH & I about DD1. He turned to me with a shocked looked about midway through the conversation saying, "we were trying?" Dearie, men are so lost where baby making is concerned. They (most) go blindly into the night not giving one thought to the outcome (pardon the pun). Ladies on the other hand, especially those "ready" for children, always have the idea in their heads, their cycle filed somewhere in their minds, and a hope (or fear) in their pocket. Now that doesn't mean ladies "always" act on the idea but they consider things (many times in hindsight).

Hi Miamla!

No1 as for the horse trailer, forward is easy; it's the backing up that's a pain. Practice that if you have time BEFORE you fully loaded.

I did shower Sazz - honest.

TS - DH had no choice here, I told him if he didn't want a baby he had to take charge of the contraception and being a man he kept forgetting to go shopping! Not that it mattered anyway - his face whenever my period was late was a picture of panic!

hotterpotter · 09/09/2009 21:42

LOL Sazz we had two honeymoons too bet yours were more exotic than ours - two nights in a B&B in Whitby then 2 weeks on a package holiday in Ibiza where I came home 1/2 stone heavier not from pregnancy but from too mucg=h greasy food and free booze

Oops i ahve told DH he can be in charge of contraception now as he doesn't want another I think it should be up to him. So we are mainly not having sex

TS LOL at 'outcome'
