Forgot to say what happened at the consultant My level of thyriod hormones which were being good and dropping have risen again so what I thought was good hot mamas weight loss is infacr my body playing stupid again. They have had to up my meds dose and will go back in 7 weeks to see where to go next. I was a bit cross because he never mentioned that it could go up as well as down which apparently is rare but does happen. I am now on the sit on the sofa and behave brigade which I am going to IGNORE as I am enjoying my exercise and will take it very slowly keeping control of my heartrate and slowly toning.

dizzydixies · 01/09/2009 21:05

oops that is rubbish! How frustrating for you Still, maybe think of it as more cuddle time with your adorable miss chattypants.

VG my boy also doesn't say anything intelligible apart from MAMAMAMAMAMAMA and DADADADADADADADADA. He doesn't half talk a lot though just not in a language we can understand!

steaknife · 01/09/2009 21:26

Oops what a bummer. I second Pilates as a good way to tone without stressing the body. We had to do it at college as part of our course. I would offer you my Pilates for Mums dvd but it is packed somewhere or other. I've only done it once since DD was born

If only it were your investments that were going up, that would be handy.

Spoke to mum, the last tenants had taken the fridge, I asked the agent if it was with the house and he said yes so now we have to find a fridge. grrrr

Right just got to get all the things on the floor into the final box.

steaknife · 01/09/2009 21:30

DD has said Ca for cat for a while, but then forgets and just continues on with dadadada
When we were at mum's house she kept saying to DD "where's mummy?" "there's mummy" so now DD says Ma Ma with meaning, which is a nice feeling. Though mainly her default is still dadadada.

She does a good line in bleuh. And we have quite long chats

DD "bleuh"
Me "bleuh?"
DD "bleuh!"
me "ahhh bleuh"
DD "bleuh bleuh"

and so on and on and on and on, funny little fig she is.

TwilightSurfer · 01/09/2009 21:35
