Think I am a friend of yours on FB.

LOL at wall to wall. Will send you an in box (not worked out the wall to wall yet )

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 20:56

Lily - You got me being all controversial on that thread now! lol. See what happens when I start?

Gingeme · 27/01/2009 20:57

OK love

Lilyloo · 27/01/2009 21:01

Good to have bit of support thanks Lucky!!!

Simps my sis dd is ultra clingy so i am really trying to take dd to other activities to counteract this. I also think i am partly to blame as she is MY baby!!!

Anyone taken lo for booster yet ??
Got M tom for hib /menc and feel a bit sad that dd will know what's going on a bit more this time.

Is it 1 or 2 ??

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:01

Gingeme - have sent it

Lucky - good for you!! Not brave enough I'm afraid

JKS is out tonight. Please say you will come when you read this

Madmouse - I too am convinced that DD would be a lot smaller if I had done BLW. Everyone at toddler group today thinks she looks about 9mths At least by spoon feeding I can put oil in stuff. Her finger food is getting more though and she ate half her tea tonight by feeding herself.

LaTrucha · 27/01/2009 21:03

Madmouse - I agree RE BLW. I certainly think things are different if your LO is really little! I want to KNOW what she's eaten.

Simpson - I get very angry about all this 'too attached' stuff. Poor little girl has ahd such a hard time. Even if the cuddle while she's pooing is a habit, so what? She won't be doing it when she goes to university, will she? And if she is scared of pooing, it would be very harsh to refuse her. I don't think you can have too many cuddles, myself.

On crying, sometimes we have to leave DD crying because in certain moods she will NOT go to sleep if either of us is in the room. For example, that's what we did tonight. I felt we were just winding her up. She cried for about one minute and was then fast asleep.

Muchisimas gracias, Angechica

Tomorrow is D-day. Packing, cleaning panicking. Or at least it feels like it

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 21:04

Lily - DD had her booster just before her birthday She took it well. We took an orange in for her and gave it her to eat while they injected her she cried for a min then as soon as we got up and pulled her trousers up she was asking for another piece. lol

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:04

Lilyloo - do you mean MMR?

DD's is booked for 20th Feb. DS having his pre school booster at the same time.

Think MMR is 2. DS's is 2 as well.

When we went to toddler group this afternoon DD would not leave me but she has not been for nearly a month so will keep going each week and hope she gets more confident to leave my side!!

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 21:05

LaT - We HAVE to do that most of the time. If we're there she just keeps standing up to get hugs so I tend to leave the room and most of the time she only winges for abou 5 mins at most.

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 21:08

DD's MMR is booked for a week on weds.

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:09

LaT LOL at DD needing hugs for pooing at uni

I agree re leaving to cry sometimes. Occasionally if DD is over tired when she goes to bed it just prolongs the agony to stay with her.

She actually wants to be left alone to moan a bit iyswim.

Can be quite tough on the sleeping front but not so tough on the crying in the day TBH

Madmouse - yes she still has anal fissures (3) but TBH her poo has been too on the soft side (sorry TMI) so I don't think its hurting her ATM.

Odd...my cooking gives her the runs and jarred stuff she is ok with. My cooking is not that bad BTW

Lilyloo · 27/01/2009 21:10

LaT GOOD LUCK

Simps no it's a booster for HIB/MENC !
Stick with the groups she will get confident enough to go.

Lucky sorry you getting bit of flack

MM we don't have SatNav if you can remember it got pinched when we did Lapland pre LO's So wll need good parking directions. DS pretty good at reading so hopefully he will be guiding me!
Where else is there to go as hoping to stay more than 1 1/2 hrs , if i like you all that is

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:12

Lilyloo - oops are they due another injection then?

Will have to ring doc's tom...

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:16

Gingeme - got your message and will check dates with DH (for having DS) and wait and see what other Londoners (Mixed mama, JKS, filly...?)can do

madmouse · 27/01/2009 21:19

simspon at the risk of tmi very wet poo can be intensely sore making. speaking kinda from experience (now that is tmi)it can really kinda bite.

Lilyloo, we will be in the town centre (or close in any event). I can do a guided tour if people bring pushchairs and there is an Ikea for food and play too.

There is a cool transport museum with free entry. it has full size steam trains and buses and the fastest car britain has ever made, what's it called it held the world land speed record, does not look like a car.

Lilyloo · 27/01/2009 21:19

I just got it through post ??
Will have tangerine at the ready then Lucky!!

OP posts:
Lilyloo · 27/01/2009 21:20

LaTrucha · 27/01/2009 21:21

Oh. Can I have a slight flounce that I still don't know who anyone on Facebook is. Not that I 'get' facebook at all TBH. Just wannabe one of the gang

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:22

Lilyloo - may ring them anyway and see if all injections can be done at same time on 20th.

Madmouse - who knows if it hurts her Transport museum sounds good

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 21:22

LaT - Hmmm, Let me see if I can work out who you are (I think your my friend) and i'll send you a list of who everyone else is, if you like?

LuckySalem · 27/01/2009 21:23

Simp - All injections cant be done together,

The booster has to be done 1 month before the MMR, I can't remember why now.

madmouse · 27/01/2009 21:25

LaT go to our facebook group and you will see Ange has helpfully posted a list. only simpson and lilyloo need to update

simpson · 27/01/2009 21:26

Lucky - bugger Will ring tomorrow...

LaT - have sent you a FB message so you know who I am
