I dont know. DP found a 2 week hol in menorca for £258pp for all inclusive. Have been trying to find cheaper but thats looks cheapest. Will get him to book it tonight I think. Its in April so have to hope I get the passport through in time (I should do shoudn't I?)

have packed up kitchen AGAIN ready for the plasterer this weekend (fellow dog walker friend). WE had some snow today but it was glorious sunshine all day so DS has been out in the fresh air as much as poss. We went to Pets Corner in newcastle but a lot of the animals were hiding out in their little sheds

JKS loved the thread. DS laughs like a drain at Iggle Piggle, we had to buy him one for his birthday. Any episode wihtout much Iggle Piggle in it won't hold his attention though.

Yes - I remember when I was BF I used to channel surf a lot and catching card making on QVC was curiously fascinating - all that talk of brads, punches, ink roller etc. though is quite scary! Like an alien world.

Madmouse - NAthan update please. Sabela has eaten two petit filous, a few scraps of egg and cheese and a weetabix today. That really is pretty much it. . She's been drinking water and breatmilk like crazy though. I HATE it when she doesn't eat. She is much better in herself though.

Ok LaTrucha, here comes. Looks like we are out of the woods. He ate yogurt and a jar (a smaller 7 month one - less lumps to gag on) at the child minder and almost half a large jar nd some pieces of bread for dinner. Childminder said he was not very smiley, and so had people said at church when she took him, but then he is normally very smiley so they're all spoilt. Dh and I got the full works when we got home though, more smiles in an hour than we have had for days. He is still recovering rather than recovered but i have faith in it now. And because he has some food in his system he doesn't look quite so empty now. Thanks all for bearing with me, sorry it is such a drama whenever he is ill. Dh said that I would probably have been like this even without the SCBU episode. I am not sure but he knows me very well.

Sorry to hear that Sabela is still not eating. Drinking lots is good and I am of the breastmilk. In the past week I have been sorely sorry that I stopped. Felt very vulnerable without my milk to give him.

Just wondering how warm is it in your corner of Spain? Is she reacting to the climate? I would expect it to be fairly mild rather than hot, non? Hope she picks up soon.xx

DD was laughing in the bath this evening and I can see 5 top teeth poking through An enormous row of them. She wouldn't let me look at the bottom row so don't know whats going on there...

simpson she can manage lumps with her gums! but milk is more of a problem. Nathan's two top teeth are through now, waiting for them to grow. Five teeth and the top should equal at least two at the bottom, as they are normally the first aren't they. Nathan never lets me look. Although he is quite good at letting me brush them since I showed him how to brush mine

MM it is really cute when they mimick you

Simps ds had cp, two weeks later dd got it (about same age as lo's now) then he went out to play on street with kids when they were drying up. All 3 boys over the road got it within couple of weeks.
TBH i wasn't bothered as it was out of the way , just think it's one of them childhood illnesses they going to get and better than having a week off school if it comes later!

Lily he seems obsessed with my mouth, putting food in it, his fingers, toothbrush. most fun, putting food in and taking it out again

M is the same and putting her fingers up my nose

Yes Madmouse she is fab with lumps TBH not like her brother at this age He used to spit all of the lumps out of the side of his mouth

But most older baby jarred food has got milk in (or egg)

She eats "proper" food for tea....when I can be bothered to cook. By proper food I mean baked beans LOL, not exactly gormet

Lilyloo - Would actually much prefer DS to get CP now and out of the way but not sure I could deal with DD with CP too She winges enough as it is!!

Lucky you better get a move on re passports. We have had Georges photo sent back because its too light so have had some more taken and sent them today Had a letter today regarding Edwards name, his full name is Edward Sidney Philip. The letter said I had spelt Sidney as Sydney on the form and Philip with 2 l's. No I bloody didn't so if I have changed the name by deedpol I was to send a letter of proof to say this. DH rang them as I was too angry and said his name was spelt as it is on his birth certificate so thats how it should appear on the passport. The guy wrote this down and said he will let them know Its not like we have difficult names or foreign names is it ? Can you tell I am angry?

Actually dd has about 6 Peppa dvd's so theygo on a rota. I pay about £4 for them from Asda when i get really bored of the last!
Lola is very much like my dd i often all her that.

Simps yes know what you mean any more whining is enough to tip you over. DD still carrying on. Had two bad nights where she has cried and cried until i have given her a bf. She has been offered bottle etc but won't give in. Dp slept downstairs eventually wed night and last night i gave in after 2.5 hrs!

Yes DD having MMR but have to make sure it doesn't have lactose in it.

They will order one specially for her if need be.

She has her booster on 20th Feb then MMR a month after that....

We're saying yes to MMR as long as she's well enough for it.

DD has been so cute today (sorry impressed mummy alert) she's been doing the woowhoo noises of indians (you know where you bang your hand against your mouth) and blowing raspberries at me so I pretended she got me (spat at me) and went yeurgh rubbing my face all over and she collapsed in giggles - literally.
She's also been doing some more steps today. We managed to get about 4 while we were getting her to walk between me and DP.

MM - I'm so glad that Nathan is getting better. I would be the same (in fact I am about DD's nappy rash) so the SCBU thing has probably made you worse but I think that would be expected.

Martha screaming for 2.5hrs - yep i'd have given in too.

Have sent the forms off online so all I have to do is when they arrive check them, sign them, provide birth certificate and photos and woohoo!! Now just have to find mine and DP's.
