Well I was going to start this thread saying that hopefully things have settled down for all of us, but I know they haven't for some.
We have all done really well to get this far and deserve a huge pat on the back for being such fantastic mums! (twin mums, have two pats on the back each)
I also wanted to say thank you for all the support, especially in the last week or so.
Well this is rapidly turning into an oscars acceptance speech so I'll stop there!

Or feed him ... Tricky very tricky

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 30/12/2007 23:21

I need my man to change light bulbs - jolly well hate having to do it myself!

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:21

Will he wake if you bf him runny?

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:21

Oooh runny - you sound pg!

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 30/12/2007 23:22

re the dreamfeed - it is tricky - I would get it ready but let him sleep till he murmurs - sitting on the fence me!

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:23

am NOT pg, lol

(think I'm due on, although never sure when cos of the coil and bf)

and he doesn't feed well in his sleep

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:24

So anyway - I have definitely conceived this month as my boobs are huge but have a coil so little fella (lady) unlikely to make it - the aim of the coil obviously but makes me quite sad.

Do I get to delete this message???

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:25

I might leave him then Runny, may mean you have to feed him later on though, maybe I should sit on the fence!!

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:25

Is that how the coil works Octo?

I know nothing about the coil!

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:26

The coil is a tricky devil - completely confusing to me. I def ovulated 2 weeks ago - the day after had sex and now have big boobs ... hmmmm tricky.

So - which is more tricky - to wake baby for dreamfeed or think about being pg when unlikely?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 23:26

octo
is that how the coil works?????

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:27

think I might take him into bed with me, have a cuddle and see what he does

and he's got his settling in session in nursery tomorrow - my baby is growing up so fast [sob]

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:28

Ange - to be honest - I had a really bad cold when went to get it fitted and really didn't listen! You still ovulate but the coil thins the lining of the womb to stop eggs implanting and make it diffuclt for sperm to get to egg.

CaptainDippy · 30/12/2007 23:28

Absolutely PMSL here, esp at Pesha boobies

fpesha · 30/12/2007 23:28

I think with coil eggs can be fertilised but coil prevents implantation, is that right?!

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:28

Sounds like a good idea Runny, hope the settling in session goes well tomorrow.

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:28

thought that was how the coil worked. weird when you actually think about it

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:29

awww runny - hope you both sleep well and the nursery thing goes well.

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:29

Know nothing about coils here either!

Please all stop talking now, need to go to bed, but have been chuckling away catching up with all the chat!

fpesha · 30/12/2007 23:29

Why is everyone laughing at my boobies

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:29

think so pesha, cos there is an increase risk of ectopic pg with the coil

AngeG · 30/12/2007 23:29

Thanks, for the explanation Octo, I honestly didn't realise/know that was how it worked

Well done Pesha

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 23:30

hiya mj and cd

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 30/12/2007 23:30

Hope he settles runny and has a good time in nursery tomorrow. Must meet for coffee soon xx

Octo · 30/12/2007 23:30

Yes - so I am def a fertilised lady at the moment. People do get pg with the coil in but there are compllications when you get it removed as can cause a mc - not always but can.
