trace2 · 28/12/2007 15:24

am ok but what about you? any sign of baby?

OP posts:
LuckyStarOfBethSalem · 28/12/2007 15:26

Nope

I've got leaky nipples (need to wear breastpads and change at least once a day)
Got sharp pains in my "bits" and had the odd period type cramp!
BUT THAT'S IT!!!!

I'm stupidly irritable, knackered all the time as can't sleep and although technically not due till 3rd (nearly a week) am panicking that my lovely homebirth is going to turn into a induced hospital birth!

but apart from that it's all good lol

trace2 · 28/12/2007 15:29

no no sounds good to me you make sure you have your home birth! i hated being induced

OP posts:
LuckyStarOfBethSalem · 28/12/2007 15:31

That's my main worry. I don't want to be hooked upto monitors galore, drips galore and made to sit on the hospital bed whilst it all happens!

Anyways... I'm done wingeing. Hows Chloe?

trace2 · 28/12/2007 15:38

OP posts:
LuckyStarOfBethSalem · 28/12/2007 15:47

I'm glad she's a smiley child. Must mean that things aren't too bad for her. IYKWIM. (Hope that doesn't sound insensitive)

Do they know why she's getting the fits? Can they "fix" it?

trace2 · 28/12/2007 15:49

LuckyStarOfBethSalem · 28/12/2007 15:51

We've guessed that chances are although we'll go nuts next xmas for the little one I don't think they'll recognise it till the year after. If that makes sense.

trace2 · 28/12/2007 15:53

aww thank you we think so

OP posts:
LuckyStarOfBethSalem · 28/12/2007 16:05

Nope its a surprise - much to the annoyance of DP.
When we went for our 20 week scan I told him before the scan that I didn't want to know, his reply was just a huff! went into the room and the sonographer asked if we wanted to know and I said "no", DP said "yes" so I was expecting to have to have the argument with him there but the sonographer just said "sorry its up to the mum" DP was soo angry, was really funny.
I've also put in my birth plan that DP is to find out the sex, which he doesn't really know about but I know it'll be something he wants to do - along with the cord.

I think its a girl and DP wants a boy. I'm pretty sure its a girl cos all through the pregnancy DP's sitting there saying I don't want a girl, a girl will be too much to cope with etc. So I think the baby heard him, put 2 fingers up and decided on being a girl! lol

trace2 · 28/12/2007 16:09

lol dh was the same didnt want a girl but nows he could say anything bad about her he adores her
