OK Ladies, let's get this sorted before Christmas is upon us.

Can anyone who's interested in meeting sign up here and express some preferences for where and when.

I think we said something about Basingstoke last time we met. This suits me, but not sure about Dippy.

As for days, I would prefer not to bring Emily with me as she will not sit still for longer than 10 minutes. I can do weekdays or weekends (provided dh is not working).

Thoughts?

Basingstoke should be ok with me...I too would prefer not to bring Jake, could do weekends, weekdays ok but Tuesdays or Fridays best so I don't have Jake.

mmk · 22/09/2007 19:27

I don't mind where the meet is, dh will drive me. Weekends would be my favourite time

oooggs · 22/09/2007 19:31

I wanna come >

but a bit far

mmk · 22/09/2007 19:48

oogs, I'm sure you can be there either via cyber space, or virtually. Can't you blue tooth yourself or something?

that reminds me, what is 'poking' in facebook, and why would I want to poke myself and others?

oooggs · 22/09/2007 21:35

I have no idea what poking is - I find facebook confusing

Hi IDOC, would love to meet up too. Would need to be after the October half term if pos, as Becky is only doing half days at school until then which is a logistical effing nightmare!!!

Any day though after then, and Basingstoke fine for me.

elkiedee · 24/09/2007 21:52

I might try to make it but will see what's arranged and research trains etc when it's been fixed up and I get back home. Waterloo is one bus journey from here but it's the other side of central London.

PillockInThePumpkin · 02/10/2007 19:20

make it near enough to christmas and I might meet you there, am hoping to go down to Swindon/Yeovil in December (if pesha will have me ) and stopped off in Basingstoke on the way there last weekend

busywithIzzy · 02/10/2007 21:33

That'd be great Ellie!

PillockInThePumpkin · 02/10/2007 21:53

yeah right, can hear the collective groan from here

Idreamofchocolate · 03/10/2007 21:22

Oooo look, you did post on here!

OK, I'll pick a date for starters....Tuesday 4th December in Basingstoke. How does that grab you?

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 03/10/2007 21:22

Ooooh Ellie, so you did!

Bring it on!

Sexonlegs · 03/10/2007 21:23

December onwards, I can only do Wednesday or Thursday as am back to work from Monday 3rd What a pita I am!

PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:24

see, I go to all the effort of posting and you didn't even look here

will see what I can do with the Tuesday, might take the Mon/Tue off work, travel down for Sunday then meet you guys on the way home, break the journey up

PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:25

rubbish!
I have my work xmas do on 7th so need to be at work for the 6th and 7th really, but could take monday/tuesday/wednesday off?

Idreamofchocolate · 03/10/2007 21:28

Could we make it the last week of November then, before SOL goes back to work, or is that too early for you Ellie?

OP posts:
PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:28

nah, i can do whenever, need to check with Pesha though as it'll mean me visiting her while i'm there

VamPesha · 03/10/2007 21:32

Its my birthday in November

Other than that i have no plans, no life, nothing!

Idreamofchocolate · 03/10/2007 21:38

Go on then Vamp, pick a date

OP posts:
PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:42

now if we're really clever we could pick the weekend that my mum is in Suffolk visiting

Idreamofchocolate · 03/10/2007 21:45

Or you could bring her with you.

OP posts:
PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:49

erm..........no!
i'm think that if we choose that one without realising, i can visit sis in swindon without having to see mum, and i miss her trip to suffolk so it'll be 6 months reprieve

Idreamofbroomsticks · 03/10/2007 21:51

But your sister annoys you too doesn't she? Or is she the lesser of two evils?

PillockInThePumpkin · 03/10/2007 21:54

sis without mum is fine, it's the influence of said parent that buggers it up
lou came up with two children, on her own, on the train, to Joe's christening cos mum wouldn't come.

Idreamofbroomsticks · 03/10/2007 21:57

Silly old moo then, best avoided.

Get Pesha to suggest a good date and lets get this thing sorted out then.

Off to bed. Fingers crossed dh doesn't chunder, I can't handle looking after 3 children.
