what a load of posts!!
T loves carrying a muslin around and stuffing it in his mouth so I bought a taggie yesterday on ebay for £3.33 inc p&p! looks really nice, but obv haven't got it yet.
WHY are you giving babies chocolate??????? What a waste they won't appreciate it you know!
very about colin macrae, we heard on the news night before last that they thought he had died, didn't realise his son & son's friend were in there as well
T slept from 8-6 last night without waking once Woke up very engorged so desperately expressing to compete with WO. Only 114 feeds to go!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts re. my Dad. He´s still in hospital, of course he had to go all funny on a friday so he´s just been sitting there waiting for today to roll around when there´ll actually be doctors around to tell us what´s going on His colour is much better and he looks much better than friday but still needs oxygen and says he feels much worse than last time he was in. Just hoping we can get some clearer information today as so far they seem divided over what actually happened. My sister is a nurse and worked for years in Cardiology so keeps sending us huge lists of questions for them.. got to find a doctor first though!!

Can´t believe I missed the cloth nappy talk! You were all just given free rein for wanton nappy-ness and I missed it! Going to give my two cents anyway (Sorry Pillock!lol)

I´m always surprised at how many people love Sandy´s, I didn´t find them even nearly absorbant enough, they were kind of ´poofy´ (not derogatory comment re. their sexual preference, I mean as is air-filled! lol) and went really hard in our hard water. Strange because so many people rave about them and they are very wallet-friendly. I really like wonderoos as a pocket, fuzzis are very cute but wonderoos cheaper as they are one size. So easy to use and great in summer as they double as shorts! but can´t really popper vests over them as it can cause wicking which could be a pain in winter. Back to loving my bambinex with nature babies or ME airflow wrap as a very good reliable and absorbant nappy. Cos of the hard water problem I think i´m going to order a teddy (microfibre version of the bambinex) and see how it goes. I´ve tried quite a few others but no where near as many as Octo and nutty - am trying to limit myself as it´s all to easy to go crazy with them.

Night nappy is a bit harder, he was always in cloth at night until about a month ago and now I´m waiting on a minki pocket and a huggle to try out.

Oooggs - N has slept on his front since about day 5 of life! lol he doesn´t sleep on his back, we put him down on his front as he just goes out like a light that way. Think crawling will be very delayed as he just can´t stay awake on his front! hahahaha. I really don´t think it´s a problem esp. once they can roll over and move their heads. I worried so much when he was little but just checked him a lot and he was obviously so comfortable it seemed silly to force him onto his back.

Mmk - with so much going on atm I´m just going to send a donation straight to DEBRA, I hope that´s okay?

Hi sbs, sorry to hear he's feeling worse than last time. Let us know what happens today and what is decided.
T is defintely getting a preference for sleeping on his front, last night he was rolling over in his sleep, I tried to stop him thinking he would wake himself up but in fact he just put his head to one side and went into a deeper sleep! He's just done the same now with his after breakfast nap.

CaptainDippy · 17/09/2007 08:37

Hi TSPB and SBS! Hope T enjoys the Taggie - I've had them for all of mine, but have to admit, DD2 is the only one who really apreciated it - they are very cute though!

P is a front sleeper too, has been for about two weeks now, she settles soooo much more easily and sleeps for longer too - Is fab! EllieK's Joe is front sleeper too, I believe!

Really hope they get some quick answers for your dad, SBS. Thoughts and Prayers. xxxx

sleepbabysleep · 17/09/2007 08:37

sorry I´ve tried to catch up but can´t and got to dash now - hopefully be around more later x

Nope - P isn't rolling either - can get onto her side, but no further. Pretty darn good wriggler though - nearly off the end of our bed today!!

Ikea + Children = NO NO NO NO!!!! you're v.brave to do it!

nappynuttynormabutty · 17/09/2007 10:03

Mommy's Touch One-size

No, Luce...Erin's still not rolling over. She sometimes looks like she's going to then thinks it's too much like hard work

Sorry to hear about your dad SBS.

CaptainDippy · 17/09/2007 10:04

LOL - still going, NNNB!

nappynuttynormabutty · 17/09/2007 10:06

Swaddlebees Pocket

Yes CD, I'm still going. Am not impressed at the number of defectors tho

If I suddenly stop posting it'll be cos I've run out of nappy names ...tho that shouldn't be for ages yet....

CaptainDippy · 17/09/2007 10:20

Rainbows Stuffables

OK, Ok - I'll keep going, but I am sure I'll run out long before you - I may used them and may work in a baby shop; but you sure as hell are waaaaaaay more addicted that even me!!!!!

Morning.

Luce, a brave woman indeed! I hate Ikea at the best of times.

SP, love the suggestion of B & Q!! B likes going to Halfords so she can try out the bikes!

No rolling over here either. K rolls on to her side and then flips back on to her back which scares the life out of her!

IDOC, any word from Bramshott? I think N was starting school too this term.

SPS, hope your dad is feeling a bit brighter and you can get some info today.

All ok here. B was v clingy when we went to school today. Hope she is ok.

Best go. K sceeching at me. Hope everyone is ok.xx

CaptainDippy · 17/09/2007 11:13

Hi SOL! No, haven't heard rom Bramshott in a while - hope N is enjoying school and O is doing well.

mammyjo · 17/09/2007 12:04

Hello everyone. Quick post before going to sit back down. Rubbish night as I have been up since midnight throwing up and having a squitty bottom (I know, TMI). I feel really ropey, exhausted and headachey and hurting. Very today and feeling sorry for myself. Hoping it is just one of those 24 hour bug things.

SBS, hope things go ok for your dad at the hospital today. Thinking of you all xxx

Thankfully F has drifted off to sleep so am off for a quiet half hour. See you all later xxx

TerryStealthPolarBear · 17/09/2007 12:10

oh mammyjo, hope you're better very soon
CD - are you feeling better?

mmk · 17/09/2007 12:45

SBS yes, just donate to Debra. Others, accounts will issue this week..have to go and make a motorbike funeral tribute now, (how the hell I'm going to do that , I don't know).

oooggs · 17/09/2007 12:58

hope you feel better soon mammyjo

both dts are moving forwards Jack looks like a commando as he pulls himself with his arms and Erin just wriggles

thanks maveta on the sleeping on the front info

TerryStealthPolarBear · 17/09/2007 13:13

Wow at moving forward!
After the 8pm-6am unboken sleep last night (did I mention? ) T has had 2 naps today so far - both at least an hour long
and both on his front so I think I'll put him down like that from now on
