Bless you SOL - there must be someone you can go & see!!? Go for lots of lovely long walk, have naps, eat cake (reoccuring theme here!!?) ... do all the things that are prohibited when B is around!

Ooooooh nutty - I like geeky intelligent men with glasses too!

It is do-able Maveta - go for it, sweetie!

Brain is sludge, can't remember anything else!!?

normabutty · 13/08/2007 11:25

Morning all, I kept getting interrupted while catching up so have forgotten most of it.

Katy - hope you, T and dh are feeling better. Sorry to hear you had such a scare last night, it's so difficult to know what the LOs are feeling iyswim.

Maveta - I know what you mean about it being so difficult on your own, I think it's partly cos you get into a bit of a routine with dh around and it feels a bit like there's tons more work to do when they're not there. I know when dh was at his friends house for a couple of days the first day was fine...a bit of a change for me and was v organised but the next day was sooooo much work.

SOL - it's a shame all your other friends with children are away. Hopefully you'll find lots to do with K.

FF - hope you and Ernie are ok

Pesha - hope you get the thrush sorted.

CD - LOL @ us having the same taste

My quiz on Facebook is going to be wrong now...I've bought 3 more nappies ...I just couldn't resist. (Well one was FFP so it doesn't really count as spending, does it? )

Also got poked on Facebook by an old friend I went to uni with...he was a really great friend and haven't heard from him since just after my wedding so hoping to find out what he's been up to. If he's still in the area it would be great cos we could meet up and stuff and would mean I had frinds who were my friends rather than people I know through dh iyswim.

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:26

Thanks for all the advice on reuseable pull ups. J is 2, but everytime we've thought he's ready to start toilet training (telling us he's done a poo, wee etc) he's decided to stop. Maybe these will help him.

SOL - Thats exactly how I've been feeling. Where do you live? If you fancy a day out, maybe we could meet half way somewhere? (I'm better when I have definate things to do)

Maveta - I'm in the same boat re weight and dress size. I know I'm lucky that I've lost most of the weight I put on with W, but it doesn't help when there are still loads of clothes in my wardrobe that don't fit! Hopefully the gym membership will help.

ff - very of new calvin klein bra. tbh, I haven't got enough to put in a bra lol. But have told dh I will getting lots of new underwear with I stop bf. He's not complaining tho!

W is still with us, only because we still haven't sorted out the boys bedrooms. And its easier for me with night feeds

Going to gp tomorrow to get results of blood test. Have been feeling much better, but I know that I'm still not quite me iyswim

happimummy · 13/08/2007 11:27

morning, quick post. Still not had shower this morning

Katy - i think one or two of the lo's on here have been sleeping on their tums for a bit ?? I think Joe was???

Maveta - if you will I will Trying to sort diet and exercise this week. Need to loose about 2 stone and have holiday to portugal booked for end of September sooooo need to try to do something about it so more than 1 pair of trousers fit me! (too tite to buy more! ) Ok, so come on then lady...

Right, having said that I'm off to get some toast, toast is allowed though !!! hee hee

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 11:33

hey ladies!!!

pishy weather here which is making me really sad - so maveta and sol i sympathise with you... only problem i have is that i have no family up here at all, so get absolutely no time to myself.. dp offers to take charlie of a weekend for a few hours so i can go and do my own thing, but to be honest i look forward to the weekend so much,i actually want to spend the time together.. that doesnt make much sense does it?

The weight thing is also getting me down, could really do with loosing a stone and a half, not all baby weight but excess none the less, which is not very easy cos at the moment it sees like the only comfort i have is making nice meals...

Well since i've started i might aswell finish... i had kinda half expected that dp and i would go on holiday sometime soon, we can afford it, or i thought we could, and thought it would be nice. Anyways we started to talking about holidays yesterday and he said "if you want to go away with your mum or something then thats fine, we will go away next year, somewhere really nice. Its all very well but firstly c will be mobile by then so it will be much harder work, and there will always be something else on next year that will mean pushing the holiday back..I even suggested him taking a day or 2 off in september so we could have a long weekend in the lakes or somewhere which was met with a very snappy "we'll see"..

God i feel bad moaning about this trivia stuff when there are o many people with serious problems..sorry

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 11:38

sorry... x-posted with about 7 of you there.. perils of 1 handed typing!

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:38

gmm - Its not trivia. Been having similar chat with dh for the past few months. Like you, sort of thought we'd go to somewhere like Centre Parks, just for a break, and while W is still bf, so it would be easier. Now in August, nothing is booked Usually I would book, organise etc, but with pnd, I haven't felt like doing anything. Dh has now said, that he doesn't know when he'll be able to get the time off, so maybe it'll be a long weekend somewhere.

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:39

Sigh GMM. Men are a funny breed. Put me in the Fat Ladies Club too - could really do with losing about a stone or so .....

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:40

W is sitting in his bumbo, telling me a very interesting story, and chewing on his blanket

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:42

Awwwww, bless him - Love theier "stories", don't you??

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:44

their

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:45

Just given my neighbour a parcel I took in for her. Its t-shirts for her hen weekend.
She's going to magaluf from monday to thursday, with 20 other women!!!

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:46

he's saying hello to you dippy

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 11:48

Runny - I wouldnt mind organising it - but since I have no money I feel bad even questioning it... I just kinda mumbled something about it being fine and that was it.

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:48

Scary!! - To Hen Do, not W's salutation, RHE!

"Hello" back little man - want some breast milk!!? It's freshly sqeezed!! I have enough to feed every baby in the country!!

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:48

gmm - maybe you could actually book next years holiday now? Thats what I'm going to do. That way, its dealt with iyswim.

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:49

RH One-handed typing, not much good!!

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 11:50

That'll NEVER happen... Dp is the sort of bloke to leave everything to the last minute - if he had his way e would just turn up at the airport with his poassport and some pants..

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:52

he's having a good old chomp on my finger - he's got a good grip, lol

gmm - I know what you mean, dh would be paying for our hols too. I can't remember the last time we went on hols

CaptainDippy · 13/08/2007 11:52

Right, have pumped enough - off to wake DD2, plop DD3 in pram & have picnic with friends! "See" you later.......

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 11:54

gmm, I don't know what else to suggest

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 11:55

have fun dippy..... its lashing down here - highlight f my day is a trip to tesco to get some cheap nappies!!!

Sexonlegs · 13/08/2007 12:02

Hiya Runny. I am in Hampshire, so quite a long way from you in bonny Wales - it is Wales isn't it??

GMM pmsl. The highlight of my day is going to post a parcel and collect dh's dry cleaning!!! Do need to go and get some sunglasses tho, as B sat on mine by mistake on Saturday and they snapped!!

Right, going to grab lunch while K is asleep I have to say she is a bloody angel!!

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2007 12:06

Sol - Yes, it is Wales (rather sunny today!)

Going to pick J from his nanas, so prob won't get back on here today
