Hope everyone finds this and I haven't doubled up!

I've got really bad back pain and ds is spinning on his zebra crying. No idea why!

Funny dd, poor A.

SpottyTeacakes · 26/07/2014 11:35

We're in a playground in winchester. It's boiling hot and the playground is lovely. It's like being on holiday Grin

Well it's turning into one of those days.

The oven is broken. The engineer has booked us in for 4th August!!!

Luckily the cooker has a second (small and not reliable regarding higher temperatures) oven that I can use to cook the giant chicken tomorrow, but I think it will be served with mash...

DH is doing the chip shop run now to feed the hungry, grumpy children ASAP. Glad we planned a barbecue for tonight!

PurplePidjin · 26/07/2014 12:40

Oh no, Beasty Shock have you got a slow cooker? Can do a whole chicken in there and it's really easy (i prop it up on 1/4s of onion and put a ladle full of water in, smother the breast with butter and herbs)

Barbeasty · 26/07/2014 16:17

The 2nd oven should work, I just don't think the thermostat us very good. So I've bought an oven thermometer.

But DD is splashing in the new paddling pool. 5 ft might have been a bit ott, but she loves it and I may have had a go too

coffeeandcream · 26/07/2014 18:07

Hi everyone,

Will catch up on thread after Fs bed time, hope you're all well.

We're back from the funeral, it was a really tough few days. F was an angel actually, ate all his meals in restaurants with us without any fuss or screaming, actually wanted to clean his teeth, slept through each night, and best of all, slept through the church service.

Hoping for a quiet night [zzz emoticon]

PurplePidjin · 26/07/2014 20:10

Glad he was good for you coffee

My neighbours are moving Sad we've had a succession of nightmares in both there and next doors (heroin dealing with associated fights and break ins, building a play pen out of pallets in the communal garden so they don't have to supervise their kids, fire through the letter box kind of nightmare. That was all different people btw) these ones are loud and messy but at least they're kind and polite WAAAAH!

WLmum · 26/07/2014 21:54

Oh no pidj that sounds terrible. Neighbours can have such a huge effect on your quality of life. We've been so lucky and had pretty good ones over the years - a few minor irritations but nothing like you're describing.
nutella - where's this baby? I think it was hales gave you til Saturday - well cough up (or down!). Thinking of you pg ladies in this heat.

MrsNutella · 26/07/2014 23:06

Wl anyone is welcome to come round (you can have cake and coffee while you're here)Smile and try out whatever technique you like to get this bloomin baby out - as long as it doesn't hurt and obviously isn't dangerous. Massaging. Leading some sort of "birth visualisation" whatever I'll try it!

DH was trying to coax it out earlier. I can only describe it as sounding like he was trying to call over / catch a chicken... Strange man Grin
He isn't really encouraging it out in any other way Hmm

halestone · 27/07/2014 03:40

I thought i was going to be right as you've not been on for a few days Nutella. The baby will be here soon enough thoughGrin

Beasty, hopefully you've had your years worth of bad luck today.

Pidj i hope you get some lovely neighbours your probably due some.

Sorry i can't remember what else i've read this change in weather is keeping me awakeShock

WillYouDoTheFandango · 27/07/2014 04:03

J's having a terrible night. He's been grumpy and lethargic for 2 days now and he woke at 1:20 boiling hot with a huge nappy leak. (His new thing is removing his nappy so he'd pulled it to one side)

Took me 40 mins to cool him down then he was full of beans. Watched an hour of peppa and then bundled him in the car at 3:30 - drove almost all the way to you Hales! Back in bed now.

Bet my mum n dad will be dead happy tomorrow being kept up all night!

Glad F was good for you coffee, sorry it was such sad circumstances.

Hope the little bambino pops for you soon Nutell. What's your due date?

WLmum · 27/07/2014 07:18

Oh no willyou! Is he poorly or just this crazy weather?

WLmum · 27/07/2014 07:19

Oh yes coffee glad ds pulled it out of the bag for you but hope you're ok.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 27/07/2014 09:10

Think he's got a bit of a virus WL, nothing serious but just rumbling on and on.

halestone · 27/07/2014 09:43

Willyou i was still wide awake then you should of popped up. Has he got that virus most kids up here seem to have at the moment? Its the D+V one.

My sister is having a new bathroom put in so has been coming to ours to shower, she has just kindly come in amd woke everyone upSad

WillYouDoTheFandango · 27/07/2014 12:15

I was gonna to say no Hales as he's just had a cough/cold but then we've just had a watery poonami in the swimming baths changing rooms! He looked like he was trying to poo so we got out and thank god we did as it took 2 nappies, 2 bath sheets n half a pack of nappies to sort out Shock

WLmum · 27/07/2014 12:38

Now that's a poonami!

SpottyTeacakes · 27/07/2014 12:42

WillYou you nearly drive to Scotland?! ShockWink Sorry hales you'll always be Scottish to me!

Hope it was a one off and j isn't flooded by a bug.

OP posts:
halestone · 27/07/2014 15:31

haha i wish Spotty i love listening to Scottish people talk.

And Willyou that sounds like one massive poonami. I hope he isn't getting it, i just know alot of toddlers coming down with it.

H has fell asleep for an afternoon nap and i am sat alone on the couch with some peace and quiet i LOVE it. I cannot remember the last time i was sat in peace and quiet.

Barbeasty · 27/07/2014 20:10

WillYou Shock

A isn't well. DH took them to church this morning and said it was really stuffy. A started to almost hyperventilate and nearly fainted. He's not eaten much and has slept lots. I've had DH making him squash, so it's keeping him hydrated and the sugar can give him energy. Then after several cups over the weekend DH tells me it's sugar free....

MIL said that DH's oldest brother reacted like A to the heat, and started fitting because of it at one point.

WLmum · 27/07/2014 22:57

It definitely feels a bit cooler tonight - hope it makes everyone feel better.

utopian99 · 27/07/2014 23:27

Crikey beasty, I hope A is okay? Do you have a fan for his room? O is in vest only with fan at the moment.

SpottyTeacakes · 28/07/2014 03:18

I've just woken up with the most horrendous headache Sad I've taken something straight away. Hope it doesn't turn into a migraine they always make me sick!

OP posts:
SpottyTeacakes · 28/07/2014 03:43

Hmm weird. When I lie down it's horrendous, like a migraine, but when I sit up I'm ok...
