J doesn't say much. He says mum, has said Hiya once and randomly burger once too. That's it. He doesn't walk either. I'm not concerned in the slightest as they all develop at their own pace Smile Smile

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2014 18:03

Other than quacking, F says no words.

Please try not to worry xx

fruitpastilles · 26/03/2014 18:10

S doesn't say much either, she says mamamama, but to everyone not just me so I don't think she associates it with me. She has 'ga' for yes and a longer 'gaaaa' for ta, but they aren't even real words so I don't count them. I'm not worried though, she will talk when she is good and ready.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/03/2014 18:13

Once they start talking they never shut up so enjoy the peace :) (DD1 has not stopped for breath since she got home and is going through a can't speak quietly phase)

Donnadoon · 26/03/2014 18:36

Flowers everyone

PetiteRaleuse · 26/03/2014 19:27

Eeek. Changing LO's nappy earlier I found a little wiggly threadworm.

Looks like the PR household will be full of meds and bleach for a few weeks.

The very sight of the little fucker standing up and waving at me on her poo has made me itchy. Dragging the girls to the paed for a prescription first thing.

Pikz · 26/03/2014 19:38

Any news from YW. She's been on my mind all day.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2014 19:44

Envy too gross PR. V glad I had finished my tea.

YW has been on my mind too. Isn't it her wedding anniversary too? She may be stuffing her face with cheese and chocolate etc as we speak. Hope all went ok though.

Am full of cold. Feel grim.

But paeds appointment tomorrow.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 19:53

The Poo that waves goodbye. 40% of children have them at any given time

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 19:54

Also thinking of YW. It is the first day of no BF too, providing scan went ok.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 26/03/2014 20:32

I am thinking of yw and have been checking all day for news.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2014 20:35

It's very quiet here today. Unnerving.

Have just had a lovely bath involving clay face mask. Only downside is the state of the bath tub now another job to add to dhs list haha

PurplePidjin · 26/03/2014 20:40
Wine

I've had my fingers crossed for YW too

I've also been to Ikea and bought Expedit (the 2x2 one) and have tidied the toys and rearranged the living room to take account of the fact I'm down to 3 working dining chairs from the original 6 I've soaked in the bath, demolished a steak slice with chips and am about to start on the Wine

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/03/2014 20:42

Another one thinking of yw.

Quiet uneventful day here. I suppose that's not a bad thing. I'm looking forward to my child free afternoon at the Ideal Home Exhibition tomorrow. I expect I will come home with lots of bright ideas and no cash to do any of it!

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 21:05

Jacob was very unsettled last night so I brought him into bed. He vommed intermittently all night. He was ok on waking but would not eat breakfast. He then vommed the biggest glob of mucus I have ever seen.

He went to nursery, vommed his lunch but ate his pud like nothing happened. He then came home and vommed everything everywhere. He had his bedtime bottle and is asleep at the moment.

I think it is just reflux from his illness. He did not eat properly for a week and I think is struggling with lumps. Will send jars if he is up to going in tomorrow.

I am pretty much at the end of my tether. I do not feel well physically or mentally.

Thoughts on a postcard please.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 21:06

Fix my baby, fix me still applies.

fiatpandababba · 26/03/2014 21:14

Hope all is well yw

PetiteRaleuse · 26/03/2014 21:15

When is your next appointment with the paediatrician or was it a one off referral vq ?

Pikz · 26/03/2014 21:16

VQ I honestly think it's time for a trip back to the paed for J and to the doc for you.

Sounds to me that you both need some support right now x

BigPigLittlePig · 26/03/2014 21:16

No thoughts vq but have some pretty Thanks for you and some smelly Thanks for whichever room took the hit.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 21:23

Thank you for the Thanks they made me Smile

It was a one off Paed appt. J is not ill. He has allergy/intolerance but he is a good weight fat little bugger and is developing well.

I think I need some happy pills as the wine is looking rather appetising.

Please God let him sleep and not vom!

On a brighter note, I have two happy girlies, one sprawled over a double Memory Foam Bed with beautiful pine headboard courtesy of GPs, and another in her big girl bed in her Shocking Pink bedroom. Little girl has her Peppa Pig duvet and curtains, and is cuddling Mike Wizowski (sp) from Monsters Inc.

ValiumQueen · 26/03/2014 21:24

And there is a wall between them!!!

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/03/2014 21:27

Oh god vq. Thoughts? I just don't know. Would you say on a day to day basis that J's reflux is under control? That it only flairs up when he is ill? I'm not sure I am the right person to give advice since I have many issues with E still and sometimes most times I really don't know what to do. But I really do think that J needs proper monitoring and care. Not just a cursory look at and send him on his way. He needs to be assigned a pediatric consultant who will give regular check ups, even if things appear to be ticking along nicely. It's not right that J is continuing to go through this. Hugs for you both x

Kyz · 26/03/2014 21:29

Haven't caught up properly am rubbish ATM but also thinking of yw and also think vq should have some Flowers

Hope sleep had by all!

YellowWellies · 26/03/2014 21:44

Hello all! Sorry sorry sorry for the delay in posting..... I've been busy eating an Easter egg, stilton, cheddar and domino's pizza with my sis this evening whilst vvvvvvdh weans the bear. So far nothing has tasted that good so I know that if needs be I'll happy go dairy free again for baby two.

Scan went well am measuring 9+4 so back for another proper 12 week scan in 3 weeks. Bub was kicking and waving but otherwise baked bean like. Due date is 25th October so if born on time there'd be a 2 year 2 day age gap - the exact same as between my twin sister's kids! I've been assigned a consultant and put onto a prem birth risk programme so will likely get extra scans and will be taking aspirin daily as apparently that helps you go longer and make bigger babies.

DH dropped me off at my sister's straight after the scan, he picked J up from nursery on his own and the first bedtime sans boob went OK. No tears just Sad and a wee voice saying "Mumma? Boob?" he didn't want koko just water, a cuddle and a story. A bit of rocking and DH had him to sleep. Am v proud. Fingers crossed it keeps being this cool!
