Secret eatered.

PurplePidjin · 04/04/2014 09:28

we're off to playgroup then i'm picking up my new glasses then dumping r on my mum while i do lovely lady things with a friend, her treat Grin

Brew for all th ship nights. i was up 5 times to r although they were brief, haven't had one that bad since night weaning last September Sad hope it's not the 18m thing 6 weeks early Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 09:29

Yes I have done it most week days. I feel great until I get a bloated day then I lose hope of ever having a flat tum. I still haven't mastered the ab work without hurting my neck. I think they are just too weak to even try. I have to be extra careful as my stomach scar herniaed during pregnancy andI don't want any more surgery.

BigPigLittlePig · 04/04/2014 09:30

Love that program Sophia.

I am irrationally pissy today. And annoyed at myself for being this way. Should be a nice day with my girl but instead am just cross. And then I want to cry for feeling cross. Etc etc. Like pmt but have only just finished af so it can't be. Suspect it's due to job change and worry. Is it too early for Wine!?

Glad J didn't puke vq, fc you have seen the last vom for a while now.

F is getting cross because the dog won't share it's chewy toy. So they are taking it in turns to chew a peg Hmm

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 09:33

Sometimes bp a girl just feels cross. Everything is wrong, nothing feels comfy and the day is wrong. (((Hugs)))) treat yourself to something can you go out for an indulgent coffee or something?

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 09:39

piggy what's the change in job? Or do you mean the night shifts. Iirc you're still qualifying right? Do you get to switch department or are you specialising right where you are (general surgery? i can't remember)

BigPigLittlePig · 04/04/2014 09:46

Every 4 months we move to a different department, so new set of people to work with, different kind of work, and this time, shifts instead of 9 til 5. And physician rather than surgeon pr.

Will snap out of it soon I'm sure.

StuntNun · 04/04/2014 09:50

I last shredded at the weekend but I was too sore earlier in the week to do any more. I have kettlebells tonight so hopefully I'll be back on with the shred tomorrow. I only have twelve days to go then I'll be shredded right? Right?

OP posts:
PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 10:36

I need to go google kettlebells. I have a mental image of a group of women in lycra lifting old fashioned metal kettles with Swiss cow bells attached to them.

flouncymcflouncerson · 04/04/2014 11:05

J is in size 3.5 shoes though not officially measured. He wears size 9-12 or 12-18 month clothes (and he's 18months) so he's nowhere near the porker he once was. He also has some 3-6 months T shirts he still wears and some 6-9 baby grows!

His sleep was better last night. Mum put him down while we went for 7 week baby snuggles. I so want one!

Not heard about the job yet. I wish they tell you either way of you get an interview rather than this, if you haven't heard within 6 weeks you're rubbish malarkey!

Em.... Can't think if much else. I'm supposed to be visiting my aunt in the care home, she had a huge brain haemorrhage about 5 years ago. I've brought mum and dd but J fell asleep so I'm now mumsnetting in the car!

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 11:42

J still wears 9-12 mostly on the bottom half, but is 12-18 on top. He is very long of body and short of leg.

I have been signed off for 2 weeks, more if I want it. No pills yet. If MH it will become evident over next 2 weeks, but I think it is just being knackered and post viral stuff going on.

BP I am not surprised you are pissed off. You have had shit nights after the Paed appt, which upset you, and now you are working tonight, along with a new dept etc. I deem today is a special sweary Friday for BP BrewThanks

Stunt, the Koko is quite nice, especially compared to the Nutrimigen. I will be storing his bottles for a few days, but they will then be thrown away. That will feel so good.

Flouncy is J still on formula?

Passmethecrisps · 04/04/2014 12:01

Special fucking sweary Friday!

bp I read your posts and have myself a sharp woman the fuck up smack when I was about to whinge about another odd night.

P is 4.5 size feet and is already on her third pair of shoes. She wears 9-12 month clothes mainly but we were bought some 12-18 month gap clothes and they for perfectly and, in fact, will not do her long. After her slow start p is stretching for sure.

Passmethecrisps · 04/04/2014 12:03

How how how do I get p off bottles? I have tried milk in a cup but nope. I would also like her to drop at least one of the three but again, no. Certainly not at the minute thanks to the last first molar and sore mouth.

That has been a while flouncy. I hope you hear soon

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 12:36

Pass I was surprised that J has not even looked for his bottle. I guess he was just ready, and the fact that he has been voming so much anyway possibly helped. I personally would be in no hurry to get P off them as she is still wee, but I am rather excited at never having to wash another fucking teat ever again Grin Are you checking her mouth to make sure it doesn't get infected? She would likely be more susceptible to thrush after such a wound. I am no expert though, and I am not doubting your parenting capability obviously.

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/04/2014 12:42

bplp Having just come out the other side of being irrationally pissy I can symoathise. Things that would normally go straight over my head really got to me and made me very grumpy. And then I got cross as by being grumpy I ruined what could have been a perfectly good couple of days. But as sophia said, sometimes a girl just needs a grump!

Our play date has cancelled as my friends sisters 5 wk old has been taken into hosp for failure to thrive. They are in the nightmare hosp that E got transferred too for tests. Twis horrible place . Staff were lovely though!

So instead I will spend some time with DD1 whilst E naps.

GTbaby · 04/04/2014 13:01

Bp gets the best sleep after a night shift as he sleeps in the bed alone with no crying baby. Will you be able to achieve the same?

H is our giant baby. Size 7 shoes. In 18-24 month baby grows. Out growing his 2year old trousers.

We tried pompom balls today. A hit. Keep trying to put picks on FB but failed. Will try again later.

Alot of the oct13 mums are going through the CC route ATM. And having good of success. We are trying it next week when fh is off... As I don't think it's fair I do all the hard work so waiting for his days off!

Vq hope you get to rest in next two weeks. If lo is well enough for nursery make sure you sleep the whole time he is gone.

YellowWellies · 04/04/2014 13:03

Pass I'm surprised that J has taken to boob cold turkey so well. I don't think there would ever have been a right time (by him!) to wean him but he's taken this massive step in his stride. If you don't reckon she needs it - and it sounds like she's growing like a weed now - then maybe it's just time to say "bottle all gone" and offer her a sippy at the usual time instead and don't worry if she initially refuses it? I was stunned by how well these wee creatures can handle massive change (if its presented as a fait accompli - if Jonas was given the choice on weaning he wouldn't have! Grin )

VQ am so glad you've been signed off love x

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 13:15

DD1 still has her milk from a bottle. Not at nursery the rare occasions she has some, but morning and night. She won't have it any other way. It's a comfort thing - she drinks everything else from a regular cup or swigs evian straight from the bottle. I'm not pushing her on the milk - I can cope with the odd drop being spilt but not a glass of it being spilt Blush

Great news vq I really hope you get some rest and that LO keeps improving.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 13:16

Ooh. In two weeks I will be in the UK. Whoop! Toffee crisps here I come!!!!!!

YellowWellies · 04/04/2014 13:20

Noooo Lion Bars surely? Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 13:24

And rolo desserts and fish and chips (oooooh) and and and and and pickled onion flavoured monster munch, and lilt, and ginger beer, and I might even treat myself to my teen drink of Archers and Lemonade.

Good job I have been shredding and have not chucked out my size 12 jeans as I am going to need them!

Lily311 · 04/04/2014 13:36

Jealous of rolo. Only 2 months to go and we will be back too. Missing Heinz tomato soup and chocolate macaroons .

O is clingy. Oh dear. Only 4.5 hours to go till bedtime.

ChasingDaisy · 04/04/2014 13:44

I can't wait until O is off bottles - I hate washing the fucking things. But as ever, I am letting him drop them at his own pace. He looks close to dropping his midday bottle - he only takes about 2oz now. He has also dropped an ounce from his morning and night bottles, so heading in the right direction. He is obsessed with drinking water from an open cup. He gets wet. A lot. Grin

GTbaby · 04/04/2014 13:49

Pom poms are in a sealed tub put out of reach Hmm as I put them away H must have had one in his hand. I turned around and he was pointing to A. "Yes that's baby" like a prat. I look at A and get a glimpse of colour in his mouth. My heart just stopped.
I was so careful when he was playing. Making sure he didn't put them near his mouth. Sharp no if they went near his mouth. Not careful enough. So angry at myself.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 14:09

Would you believe it the sun has finally come out. We are going to the beach and will frolick in the dunes. Swinging by Tesco on the way home to purchase wine for this evening. Grin
