When did you ask for the change vq ?

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 20:01

When he had been on it two weeks, so about 7 months old? I would need to look back at my notes.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 20:02

So a long time ago. It may have been later though, it was after we cut out soya and noticed a marked improvement. I dunno. It all blurs.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 20:02

I have never seen HOC. Need to look it up if you like it PR.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 20:04

Yeah a formal complaint would be due then.

It's a US political drama with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright-Penn who is the epitome of fabulous in it (I want her hair, clothes, figure and manner, but she can keep the husband).

Full of scheming and mischief. I love it.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 20:06

I like Kevin Spacey. Never heard of the woman. Would probably recognise her. Married to Sean I am guessing?

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 20:13

She was. I don't know if she still is.

StuntNun · 03/04/2014 20:32

VQ haven't you ever seen The Princess Bride? Robin Wright was the princess Buttercup!

Evening quiche, hope all is well?

Pass I would rather the car be dead, I love my pussies too much for any of them to croak it!

The car is dead, dead. We scrapped it. We have a shiny new car and no money but at least we have a new one! It was expensive dead, really, and I'm still narked with it all but what can you do?

bplp I have heard of some funky ingredients in a casserole but stuffing is a new one!

sorry about the job pp :(

vq I'm sorry you had another terrible night last night, I too wish I lived closer and could come and help. I agree with the other quichesters, I think it's awful that you've been overlooked, J is clearly not right and it's not fair on either of you :(

Bet you enjoyed those baby cuddles flouncy

pleased your leg is doing ok lily lovely that you got sent some galaxy :)

pass hope she has a better night tonight bless her, and hope you get some sleep yourself, it's hard work with a shuffler in your bed!

glad for positive news re vvvdf pp

also pleased you're feeling positive sophia it suits you to be all positive, I could never imagine you without a smile on your face

Hey chasing how is work going?

Aw lovely pikz :)

lily E is a 6.5 but is due a measuring soon

ouch yw sounds painful! No idea on the hair pulling tip, but whilst we're here any ideas on biting, E tries to bite me when excited, but only me, and only the odd time when very excited

stunt that's great news!

vq it would serve them right if you bloody well complained, the treatment you've had has been awful imo. Nobody listens to you and you're J's mummy and it's not like he's your first and you're being way overcautious etc.

I really hope sleep is had quichewide tonight!

Tonight is the second night for E without a grobag. It's getting warm for him in a 2.5 and I could swap to a 1 or something but I thought well whilst we're here maybe we can try a quilt. He took an age to settle and I woke to him shuffling over his monitor at 2 and I put him back in his quilt. Tonight i've put longsleeves and a fleecey gro on him but he's so tired he's not moved, he's really zonked. Do they just get used to keeping warm under the blanket or am I moving him out of his bag too early? He does like to move around alot in bed so I'm not sure really what to do with him.

How did the weigh in go eliza?

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/04/2014 21:03

E wears size 2, (although she's not been officially measured, she may be smaller!). She doesn't walk in them but I will take her in the next couple of weeks for a measuring.

The weigh in was ok. She had actually put on some weight. She was 8.2kg and she's now 8.3kg and 73.5cms long. Teeny tiny. I have to call the dietician next week who will decide the next course of action.

lily. Ideally I'd say eat it bit by bit, but really I think you deserve a devouring. Enjoy. I like dipping it in my tea Blush

kyz what new car did you get?

Pikz · 03/04/2014 22:05

L is a 6 but he's a very tall lad. In age 2-3 clothes.

Soph yep I get a new kitchen and my longed for aga extension. I can't wait as my current kitchen is bricks and tongue and groove! I have to wash everything before I can use it.

I can't remember anything else now I've started typing.

27 days to wedding. Oh fuck.

PurplePidjin · 03/04/2014 22:43

R is following the 50th centile for weight, 25th for height, and is a 4.5 shoe. He wears 12-18 months clothes, but not sure on nappies as all mine are either Size 2, Large or Birth to Potty Wink

Sorry I wasn't here to sign in, work which was dead so i ate biscuits and crocheted a cardigan for the new arrival

Pikz nearly all over then Wine

Re biting etc, I'm quite harsh - R gets a NO and I sit him on the floor and glare at him, then a few seconds later (literally, I don't let it last long!) I ask if he's ready to give me a cuddle to say sorry. He and his slightly-bigger cousin bumped at the weekend, next thing I know R is trying to cuddle him! Except they're both toddlers so it was a very clumsy hug with lots of staggering and dcuz not really getting what was going on. But massively cute all the same :o I do the same for tantrums - let him stamp his feet and shout for a few seconds then hold out my arms and ask if he's ready for a cuddle. Has worked so far, hold out v little hope of it continuing to work but will find new strategy when necessary Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 03/04/2014 22:51

Wide awake baby. Cough cough cough. Why did I listen to the daft paeds advice?

StuntNun · 04/04/2014 07:14

J did not sleep. Neither did DS2. Am shattered already and I haven't even got out of bed. Hmm

BP hopefully you will put her back on the full dose today, and things will improve. It is hard wired, especially into you and me, to respect and follow guidance from top Medics. But you are Mummy, and the evidence is in front of you x hope you both got some sleep.

Stunt (((hug)))

J woke once at 2.30 but settled ok in with me, and no vom. I did not get much sleep, but enough to get by. He has had a cup of Koko with his breakfast and looked to quite enjoy it.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 08:25

Looking forward to kitchen porn pikz

DH was lying on an armchair, dangling his legs over the arm, last night with a glass of wine. O climbed on him, shuffled down his legs and bit his toe. Hard. DH didn't know what to save, his wine or his toe. I laughed Grin

We do the thinking step here. Though O is a bit too young to understand the thinking step, though he has been on it a couple of times. He gets a sharp NO which I always do at eye level.

We are on the 25centile full stop. He has 4.5 shoes at the mo, these were Ds1s first shoes! I will get him measured for a new pair when the weather picks up. If.

BigPigLittlePig · 04/04/2014 08:25

Terrible night. My next opportunity for sleep is 26 hrs away Sad First night shifts in 2 yrs.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 08:26

Morning all. Grump grump. I had the worst most vivid nightmare. I dreamt that I was put in an asylum and DH came to visit me and said the kids were with the ILs til I was better. Though I wasn't ill. I spent the rest of the dream trying to get out saying "but you said this was voluntary" and fighting off some v hot male nurses with syringes and being told by the director of the asylum, who was the director of nursery, that I couldn't leave. Even my mum was there saying you just need to get better and I was hysterically screaming saying "but there's nothing wrong with me!" Then the dog woke me up by vomiting on the rug.

I think he needs to go to the vet.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 08:33

bp you are a amazing. Lots of coffee. Thanks

pr weird. Are you still taking sleepers?

StuntNun · 04/04/2014 08:37

Have you tried the Koko VQ? It's very pleasant and refreshing. In attempting to cut down on caffeine I made it to 8 a.m. this morning before the headache started. Hmm I have had one cup of coffee and that's it for the day.

In an attempt at getting into shape I have booked a beginners kettlebells class tonight this is going to hurt isn't it?

YellowWellies · 04/04/2014 08:51

I have koko with coffee now its yum. I can no longer bear tea with milk it smells like hot funky mould. Envy

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 08:52

Only occasionally soph and not last night . It was a v weird dream. Might add it to my list of novel ideas. I'm sure it's been done to death though.

The vet told me to see how it goes with the stupid dog. I'm sure it's just some duplo that he's swallowed without chewing properly Hmm

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/04/2014 09:06

bplp sounds tough. hugs.

vq that's good news re no vom.

pikz yes, show us kitchen porn.

Quiet day today. Taking DD1 to dentist this morning then some friends are coming for a play date.

StuntNun · 04/04/2014 09:13

I have coconut oil in coffee YW. You have to blend it to emulsify the fat but it comes out like a lovely creamy coconut latte. My dad has a slice of lemon in his tea instead of milk, maybe I should try that.

Have you carried on with the shred everyone?

I sort of have. I aim to do some kind of exercise 4 days a week. So either aerobics, shred, at least an hour veg patching, or a walk. I did shred yesterday for the first time this week and am sore this morning. I am maintaining my weight but not loosing any at the mo and I have 5 lbs I would really like to shift. I think I relax too much at the weekend so I am going to try and push through this weekend being goodish, or not as bad as I have the last few weekends. I will still have so e wine and crisps but am strictly hairy dieters for dinners and sticking to the portions, no desserts and ......wait for itttt....

DEFINATELY NO PICKING THE KIDS LEFTOVERS

I suspect if I was secret watered that is what I would be pulled up on.
