Well it is bronchilitis again and I'm currently sat in the a&e waiting room

Oh I'm sorry lol I don't know much about bronchilitis - what is it and how's it treated? Poor her, sending hugs.

It's basically a cold thy goes down the the lungs and she gets lots of mucus so can't breathe properly. The poor lamb is constantly crying and knackered with the effort. At least this time I know what to expect so am not panicking just yet!

oh poor girl lol, hope she's over the worst soon!!! We should start an I hate bronchilitis club I bought a vapouriser which actually really helped H, might be worth a try. Hope you got seen quickly!

Anyone else remember this anecdote on MN of the women who absentmindedly popped the raisin from her son's cot into her mouth, ate it, and then realised it was semi digested raisin from his nappy!?

Aww Lol, sending my sympathy for poorly L and a large and to help you get through it. I hope it clears up soon.

E's cold is now in full swing. I was doing her bedtime BF tonight and she sneezed and sprayed both of us with a combination of milk and snot. Lovely.

Yes those pret salads are gorgeous although not sure I can ever enjoy crayfish with a straight face again The crayfish-gate thread has become a bit of a surprise comedy thread but I thought this post was good to know for anyone as paranoid and crazy as me

ha ha, this made me laugh. Warning for the future - when they eat banana they get wormy looking bits in their nappy from the stringy bits (I'm sure there's a technical name...). I thought it was worms the first time it happened!

Ahhhh!!! All's well that ends well though, right?

Did anyone else notice sleep was worse after vaccinations? Sophia's been sleeping so well lately and after her first set of vaccs, she slept right through. However she had her 12 week vaccs today and has been waking more tonight - we were down to one wake up overnight but it's only half three and she's been up for feeds twice.

Alex W had jabs today too. She has been fluctuating lately between going right through and waking 3 times before 7am, can't find rhyme not reason to it!

alex the first jabs seemed to break H's sleep and the second set fixed it again...mmthen he got poorly....yawn. God knows what the third ones will do.

Oh an quod H is like that too, really unpredictable!

I had the first set in the morning and she slept through, second set in the afternoon and broken sleep - prob nothing to do with it but wondered about time of day. She only woke up twice in the end for short feeds and slept 7.30pm-7am so I can't complain. Poor little S was giving the nurse big smiles, no idea what was coming, but she only cried for one minute and then back to smiles! I did my best fake cheerful smile at her and distracted her with my kissing game - basically I just kiss her different places like her head, foot, hand, tummy etc and she loves it, the more I laugh, the more she does! So cute. She's woken up very content today and I hope it lasts as we're off to sensory and the pub this afternoon.

Sorry to hear L is so poorly again Lol :(

H is still locked into his fever - onto day 3 now. He won't eat and not keen on milk, but is taking water.

And we now have big yellow snot. Poor love. Am off work again to look after him.

Well I managed one day, go me!

We spent the night in hospital and have been told we will be here for at least another one. She was on oxygen for the whole night but is now off it and breathing fine. She also has a uti and is taking antibiotics. All in all not very pleasant!
Brave sorry H is poorly and having explosive diarrhoea!
I am beyond tired

Oh god bleary that's horrible but glad she is doing ok without the oxygen now.

Oh Lol you poor thing :( not surprised you're tired! Have you got any support or are you flying solo? Sending love to the pair of you.

Hoping the diarrhoea is a one off, could be just a reaction to no food, more formula, etc could also be that the formula has been open for too long.

No biggy though compared to little L and t'other H

Thanks ladies. Dh has taken a day off and will also be working from home tomorrow. He was here until 3am and came back at 11. At least he is playing with her now so as I can MN rest. We will be staying another night just for extra checking and as much as I'm tired I'm happy with that!
