Oh and Janey unless your baby vests are from Gucci I don't even entertain the prospect of washing them. Straight in the bin.

MotherOfCleo · 24/02/2014 00:06

yeah I get emotional too janey, especially as she found out the couldnt have children naturally when I fell pregnant with H. I felt awful at the time, like my bump was hurting her. So I'm thrilled for them. Grin

H is asleep and he'd better stay that way fingers crossed for a better night!

I have been bleeding almost every sodding day since having this coil fitted.....slightly worried I may never stop Confused So I can sympathise. Plus my lochia hadnt get stopped when I had it fitted, I dream of a day I dont have to wear a liner! Simple dreams and all that Wink Blush

BlearyeyedLol · 24/02/2014 00:59

We spent the weekend at a friends house who gave up their bed for us. Dh was about to give L a bath, took off her nappy and she did a massive liquid poo which leaked all over the bedding!!! He then rushed her to bathroom and more poo went on carpet!!! Then more on the side of bath and in the bath!!!!! Bless her had an upset tummy and needed to get rid of it. He was not impressed!!!
I've been like clockwork re AF as well since nyeConfused.
Bought stair gates today. If anyone's interested, kiddicare are doing 2 lindam (supposed to be leading brand) for 36 quid. Then you buy extensions as necessary. Pretty good value I think!

MotherOfCleo · 24/02/2014 07:54

haha, talk about make a lasting impression lol. Smile

We have stairgates already due to the dog, we have a babydan one and a lindam one, personally I prefer the babydan one as it opens fully, plus the lindam one has a metal runner at the bottom, probably fine when by stairs but if used between rooms its a bit of a trip hazard. Thats a good deal tho! Grin

MotherOfCleo · 24/02/2014 07:57

Had a better night thankfully. Up at 2am, then resettled in his cot at 4.45 an didnt wake again till 7.30 Grin Grin Grin Grin He was shuffling round a lot and whinging in his sleep which kept waking me but glad it was a better night!

HazleNutt · 24/02/2014 10:00

I don't want to jinx it now but V has been sleeping reliably well for a while now - not M well, but usually with 1 feeding break only, which is good enough for me. So what's next, 9 month sleep regression I believe?

OP posts:
Alexandra6 · 24/02/2014 10:25

S had quite a good night - slept 9pm-3am then 3.30am-6am, then allowed to sleep on me after that feed. She seems to be lovely and chilled again today and we're off to baby massage soon, never been before.

We've started her set bath/feed/sleeping bag routine again too. We're still very much bf'ing to sleep though, I just can't seem to move away from that and don't know how to!

janey1234 · 24/02/2014 10:29

So I understand Hazle. M was actually a bit annoying last night, woke up at midnight (which is most unlike him, usually much later if he wakes) and didn't settle back down properly until 1.15am. I started to panic it might be the start of the 9 month regression but then he did go down for the rest of the night. I'm dreading it though, will be such a shock to the system and when I think back to the last one it really was horrific. Seem to remember him waking every 45mins being the low point...

M making me laugh doing a poo. He's really not very subtle about it!

Just about to book 3 weeks in France in June, yay. DP will be with me for two weeks of that, and Alex for one week, and her DH for four days. Lovely!

Cavort · 24/02/2014 11:56

Hooray for temporarily good sleeping babies! Grin

Just one feeding break here as well for the last few nights. Not good enough to say she is being reliable but a damn site better than this time last week when she was waking every 45 minutes. Never mind sleep regression, I am dreading the next tooth....

Your France trip sounds lovely Janey. It's always good to go away with babysitters friends. Wink On the holiday front, I am back to thinking Dubai now Egypt has been confirmed as a recent hub of terrorist activity. Not the Madinat though, hopefully somewhere a bit more sensibly-priced so we don't spend too much of our house deposit on it. I just need to talk DH into it tonight, which hopefully won't be too hard as he's just landed a good contract at work so he's feeling pretty flush at the moment.

For those of you who have got a UK passport for your babies, how long did it take to arrive? I posted E's off on Friday so I assume I am reasonably safe booking a holiday for the end of March?

Alexandra6 · 24/02/2014 16:27

Naughty S - she was being pampered with a massage in her first baby massage class and decides to start crying, oh it's such a hard life, ruining the zen like feeling in the class! So basically I spent most of the class hugging her and feeding her...glad it was a free class! We're going next week again - she will be pampered, like it or not! Wink

Alexandra6 · 24/02/2014 16:29

Oh and cav did you do post office check and send? Sure it will be back in time. I'm getting mine and S's done at the moment too, I have to do mine first so my details can go on her application.

Cavort · 24/02/2014 19:08

No Alex i'm far too tight to pay extra for check and send. Blush Grin I did the online application where they print all the details on for you in the right places and post it out for you to sign and get countersigned, which I think is fairly idiot-proof but watch this space.

janey1234 · 24/02/2014 19:41

I paid for check and send, just because M was three weeks old and hard to "pose" for the photo - so I wanted it checked. Good job I did as despite being taken by a "professional" place it would have been rejected, so we were able to get the picture taken again and submit it later than day...

If you're in a rush might be worth paying the extra?

HazleNutt · 24/02/2014 19:45

You'll be quite a few hours from here, janey? Otherwise would be fun to meet up for lunch in june.

OP posts:
janey1234 · 24/02/2014 21:14

Indeed. I thought that actually, then realised that it will be quite a few hours between us. My folks place is outside Bergerac in the dordogne - quite a way?
I do know that my friend who lives in Geneva thought it easier to fly via London than drive so I suspect too far Sad The twin boys will meet one day I'm sure! Wink

HazleNutt · 24/02/2014 21:52

ah yes, other end of country. There is an Easyjet flight from here to Bordeaux though, so I'm sure we can get the boys together eventually.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 24/02/2014 23:45

Ah mother I have the same reservations about the Lindam gate (have two) so will probably shell out for gates without the rid at the bottom.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 24/02/2014 23:46

Oh my god, look at this gate !!

MotherOfCleo · 25/02/2014 07:43

wow that is some gate!! Grin

It's a year ago today that I got my bfp Grin Grin H is my world Grin I do wish I could get some sleep though, he was up loads last night Sad

Alexandra6 · 25/02/2014 08:10

We are battling the elements here - bloody wind has meant S was up for ages overnight and only asleep for a couple of hours at a time here or there. I can literally hear the bubbles, just can't get it up!! Also means she's quite upset so I hope we can get it settled soon.

Happy BFP-nniversary mother Next week is mine (MIL's bday!) Oh no hang on that was when I got knocked up Grin so BFP on 17th.

HazleNutt · 25/02/2014 08:32

congrats mother on the BFP that is now your PFB, as Zombies said.

Alexandra6 · 25/02/2014 08:37

MotherOfCleo · 25/02/2014 09:26

thanks ladies :-)

Poor S, I had that with H last night, could hear the wind slooshing around but took forever to get it up! Was doing 'row, row,row your boat' when it finally and loudly came up.

MotherOfCleo · 25/02/2014 09:27

haha, sleep deprived :-) should be Grin
