Good luck to you both, I like your tactics curly

I am loafing and avoiding doing the house work while listening to Sprout resolutely keeping herself awake when she should be sleeping No screaming yet so you never know, she might self settle.

Cosmosis · 20/12/2011 14:55

well he's been asleep since 12.30 so it's not been too bad! going to have to wake him up though I think.

Happy New Year CRESH fred :o

Ginfox · 07/01/2012 07:53

Quiet in here innit?

Remember me? I had a baybee in July, popped in to say hello, then vanished. Have been lurking hereabouts, but never long enough to catch up with you all.

How is everyone? Must've been a good NYE if no-one is yet sober enough to post. DD spent her first hogmanay waking up for a feed every hour or so. Which was nice.

Hi Foxie, how goes life with your foxcub?

Ginfox · 09/01/2012 09:38

Honestly Meds, I am loving it. The Foxcub is a chilled out baby, and now that she's chattering, giggling, trying to roll over, she's great fun.

How're you doing? Did you have a good xmas?

I notice not many names on the PESH waiting list. Hope for a few more wins this year.

Medee · 11/01/2012 12:48

That sounds great, Fox!

rocketleaf · 11/01/2012 21:40

Hello Foxy. Glad you are having a luffly time with foxcub. They get more interesting every day now don't they? Sprout is currently trying to crack this crawling lark and is getting closer and closer each day although she really needs to learn to bend her knees. She is currently an expert at downward dog. Also if she could restrict practicing to the daylight hours that would be nice (but I am not holding my breathe!) ;-)

Ginfox · 13/01/2012 06:52

Hiya Rocket. Good news on Sprout starting to move. We went on a "Playdate" this week - 4 babies born within a few weeks of each other. 2 can walk with their arms supported, but can't roll over yet; three can sit up, the one that can't is twice the size of the other three. And the Foxcub has the most hair, and is the chattiest. It was fascinating to see that they all seemed to be working on different skills, and also how pointless it is to compare babies or worry about progress.

This used to be a busy thread - where is everyone?

rocketleaf · 16/01/2012 19:51

You are dead right Foxy. it is pointless to compare. I was starting to worry she wasnt babbling as loads of babies younger than her were. The very next day after I had started googling and freaking myself out about fluid in the ear (then slapping myself with a wet fish) she started doing it and hasn't stopped since. be careful what you wish for is all I can say (it is cute if a little noisy!)

AlpinePony · 24/01/2012 05:21

I've just been to the cheese shop and I've got 4kg of assorted stinky stuff which I'll be leaving in the pantry to ripen.

Can someone order some oysters?

And I'll be needing some ice for my gin gin a ling.

Ginfox · 25/01/2012 09:38

Why the sudden shopping spree SnowHorse? Do you have BrownB news? Or are you getting supplies in for your own eating-and-drinking-forbidden-stuff party in a few weeks?

Nice to see you BTW.

AlpinePony · 25/01/2012 10:12

It's for the both us us, but being back from a bad hossie visit I might end up pipping poor brownie to the post. :( will explain in other place.

Ginfox · 26/01/2012 17:38

Hope you're ok Alps. Sending positive vibes your way.

Just had an email from Boots Baby Club, remarking on how my 6month old will be sleeping much better now. Bastards. Grin

QuickQuickSloe · 29/01/2012 16:29

Ahem. I changed my name but forgot to mention it, this I biter Smile

Medee · 30/01/2012 12:18

excellent new name, bitey!

rocketleaf · 30/01/2012 20:48

Nice work sloedance we should be able to have lots of fun with that one.

Ginfox · 31/01/2012 12:18

Hooray! Thought the CRESH had been abandoned. How are you Medeeee? Nice shiney new name Quickie.

Medee · 31/01/2012 16:23

We're not bad thanks Ginfox but E has had a tummy bug and not been well, coinciding to a trip to my parents. Of course, having seen the doctor yesterday, she's not had a repeat, and finally seems to be perking up.

Cosmosis · 01/02/2012 13:02

right, fucking facebook is really fucking me off right now. I can get on, but it won't let me see any notifications or post anything.

Ginfox · 01/02/2012 13:26

Don't panic Cosmo, I know how to fix this.

AlpinePony · 01/02/2012 15:17

Cossie, can you upgrade to the latest version of the app?

Ginfox · 01/02/2012 15:51

How goes it Alps?

AlpinePony · 01/02/2012 16:11

Hiya foxy, I'm doing very well bar burning a path to the hospital the last ten days. I'm on meds now and my BP has lowered and is stable so I don't even need to go to hospital until after the weekend Woooh! :) Baby is not engaged, good for me!, so it looks as though I'm safely on the home straight which is a relief. AND I had a 2 hour nap this afternoon!
