DM you make me laugh..... Oh to be only 24!

Your birthday must be nearly the same time as DS1 - he will be 3 on Feb 5th.

aprilmeadow · 27/01/2007 16:33

Hi ladies

TTM great news about signing up ) You do realise that we will all have to have a sticker with our MN name on it so we know who we all are !

Jack is poorly. He has something called Slap Cheek. It has flu like symptoms and then comes out in a red rash on face and looks like someone has slapped your cheeks. Yesterday he was awful and we took him to the dr's. Good job really as it is dangerous in pg! Luckily i am over 20 weeks but they are still wanting to do blood tests - 2nd lot in 2 weeks - and get me in for another scan. Can be risky for baby. Oh the joys!

FM - please learn to drive and then we can see you )

ha ha ha darcie i agree with ttm, wait til you're over 30!

not being able to drive is ahem, driving me up the wall esp with this cold weather we're having. tho i do wish we could have proper winter weather. where dd's cm is, is a half hour walk away (on a good day can manage 20min - i did say a good day!).

ttfn fm x

Darciesmum · 29/01/2007 08:13

I'm without a childminder for the next couple of weeks, she left her partner yesterday, so has moved out of the house to her mothers which is in whitley nr fareham and theres no way i can get darcie there and get to work for 8am not possible.

fransmom · 29/01/2007 21:04

oh gawd dm, what's work said? if they're not being fair, you are entitled to emergency leave for dependents and you can get parental leave tho as yet, most firms give it as unpaid (if not all).

hows things?

Darciesmum · 30/01/2007 08:47

HI FM i'm on 2 days dependant leave & mums having weds & thurs off, and i don't work fridays, as of next week i've changed my hrs i'm doing 3:30 - 8pm mon - thurs & fridays off, working 9-4 saturdays.

Better for me in the long run, especially when darcie starts pre school in sept.

How are you all?

fransmom · 30/01/2007 18:33

hello i'm glad you've managed to work things out dm. i had bit of rough day today. got to work and felt like crying cos i missed fran, get home and after hour and half, wish i was back at work cos of atmosphere with her dad! i can't win today.

Darciesmum · 30/01/2007 20:20

i was but finally told dp/p (depending which mood i'm in) that if he couldn't speak to me properly then i didn't want to be with him anymore. not entirely sure how he took it cos as fran was around i didn't want to upset her. bit of a strange conversation. plus i'm getting fed up of only having "down time" comments to make on here, i wish i was a bit happier, fed up of doom and gloom.

on the upside however, hoping to go and see my brother's new house oop north at end of march - it will probably take at least 5-6hrs on train with min of 3 changes and gawd knows cost of train tkts but i am looking forwards to it.

hows everyone else? dm hope you've recovered and darcie feels loads better.

am hows you?

verso/lockets/any1 i forgot to mention?...

Darciesmum · 03/02/2007 08:41

FM - glad you told him how you sort of feel, how has he reacted today? howz fran?
are you taking fran on the train to? she should enjoy it.

remember you can e-mail me

thanks dm. he been great tonight. fran been poorly all day so haven't gone anywhere, nothing major - her cold's broke so she feels really grotty and a mommy's girl. dp put a sudafed aromaplug in her room but it plays havoc with my asthma so he took her to bed and she been crying her eyes out and it fair broke my heart to hear her i know she'll be ok tho and she has to get used to daddy putting her to bed sometimes.

fransmom · 04/02/2007 07:35
