UKIP want us out of the EU, I love Europe can't stand the EU.We pay 40 million a day to them
1)72% of our laws are now made in Brussells, from fuel taxes, farming, fishing and immigration.
2)We pay £40 million a day to be in the EU.
3)The Two richest countries in Europe-Norway and Switzerland are not even in the EU.
4)Under labour we now have 3.5 million extra people living in this country. We need proper border controls. Nick Cleggs policy is to count people in and out of the country, and force them to work in 'regions' totally unworkable. UKIP would keep our proud tradition of helping genuine asylum seekers.
5)UKIP does not appear to be anti-christian as do the other parties. The labour parties spin doctor Alistair Campbell said they "don't do God!" I do.
6)UKIP believes in holding referendums for the electorate on key local and international issues. I like this.
7)Crime is now out of contol, UKIP would build more prisons. Last but not least, Lord Pearson (leader) is 'posh' and does not try to hide it.

Nah its a plastic stage managed debate. Labour has managed to suppress real political debate in this country.

Once upon a day, at elections, the candidates would hire the town hall, and have a public debate. No spin, no notes, no advisers, just you and me grilling the guy, no preset questions, no editing, no rules, no censorship. Thats political debate. Thats worth going to. Thats why it never happens anymore, certainly not with labour candidates - they might have to think for themselves, then they would be well stuffed.

daftpunk · 22/04/2010 21:58

Yep, I agree with you,....all too American for me.

Do you think you'll stay posting on MN after the election...?

crystal123 · 22/04/2010 22:09

Cameron wins yougov poll! Good on him! The only problem now is that their will be loads of whinging, moaning, "it's not fair" and "Murdoch owns Yougov", that sort of nonsense. Ho,Hum, made good television.

Brilliant news crystal...!

daftpunk · 22/04/2010 22:18

NC called people "nutters"...I wonder what the politically correct lefties think of that..!

DC only one talking seriously about immigration...

crystal123 · 22/04/2010 22:20

Daftpunk. I see your point about these people on here calling UKIP racist loonies, but if we were all afraid of saying anything, I wouldn't be vegetarian, they were considered mad in the past by some, now it's 'normal'and healthy. Anyway I will say what I like, I couldn't give a toss.

Ofc, lots of silly brainless people here to troll and flame.

If you think my posts are polemic then dream on, i haven't even started on SOME of my favorite looney left PC targets.......

daftpunk · 22/04/2010 22:29

Y'know...if posts could kill I would have been dead a long time ago...I "came out" as a BNP supporter about 6 months ago....it's not been easy for me since, but I refuse to leave MN just because my political views upset a few liberals. I'm really a black disabled lesbian communist.....but hey...I don't want the whole of MN falling at my feet....ha ha

JustineMumsnet · 22/04/2010 22:30

Don't forget to vote in our 4th election poll if you haven't already.
Thanks.

daftpunk · 22/04/2010 22:31

Justine...I've done it already.

crystal123 · 22/04/2010 22:34

Coolfonz. You miss the point you reprobate. When addressing you, one does not have to spell correctly. Why you ask? because I have no respect for you. Any man (and I think you're one) who uses crude insults on women is not a man! Like I've said "get a job" and stop using cheap insults. Oh and SOD OFF!. Sorry you've been told that before, I did not want to hurt your feelings....

Looks like we have the core of a Mumsnet right wing fightback here........

AS the Captain of the Road Prison said in Cool Hand Luke, "What we have here is a failure to communicate..."

Your post Thu 22-Apr-10 10:21:3? I'd seen it.

Christianity had a privileged status, but not any more with the CofE being disestablished from the state. Even the bishops appear unfazed by the move, apparently senior bishops even welcome it.

Faith schools (CofE, Roman Catholic and one Sikh) have been investigated over their admissions policies, mainly because they have made pretty basic requests of parents that in order to be accepted children follow the religious ethos of the school, and they have been officially ordered to be more inclusive.

The Roman Catholic Church campaigned hard for a reference to God in the Lisbon Treaty. It got nowhere.

So Christianity privileged? Ha!

It is just one of many important issues affected by the EU. But I guess people don't want to talk about them. It's safer to stay on the subject of UKIP's supposed 'racism' and 'xenophobia' and assorted 'failings' which is about the extent of the argument heard in the media. Funny that.

lemonmuffin · 23/04/2010 08:07

Yes please stick around lincstash, your posts are fab.

ahundredtimes · 23/04/2010 09:29

LOL. Look! You're all gathered together on one right wing thread. Rounded up and holding hands.

That's great. You remind me of those Steiner education people who'd all gather together and discuss crayons and the voyage of the middle earth.

We can all sit back and STARE. Don't wander now, stay together, I want to listen to you.

crystal123 · 23/04/2010 09:35

HAPPY ST. GEORGE'S DAY!! VOTE UKIP! THE MOST PATRIOTIC PARTY AROUND! Not traitorous, like Nick Clegg and his party, Cleggs an atheist, who slurs this country, and puts donations in his own bank account! Hypocrite! Jenny Tonge, LibDem MP and all round nutter, (apparently the Israeli Defence Force harvested body parts from dead Hatian people, according to her, she's not biased, bless her! a patron of the Palestinian
Telegraph) These people should not get anyones's vote, let alone Christians, people of the of the Jewish faith, or any other faith! Libdems are going too take a thrashing! What have you got to say you Libdem rascals? are you going to be in the political wilderness for another 65 years, I think so......

lilyladles, could you direct me to the information about the CofE having been disestablished? I seem to have missed it, which is odd as you'd think it would be quite a big news item...

policywonk · 23/04/2010 10:03

Hang the fuck on... the CofE has been disestablished?? Wha...??
