@MelissaLovedMantari "Funny then that Rabbis in the UK have said it is the right thing to do. And people in Israel."

Have you interviewed them all then ?

Goodness, are not allowed to say anything negative about Badenoch? By the by, she must be raging that Delo took no notice of her little note to him and gave Farage all the dough.

I said it was funny. Ik it’s Labour for you don’t worry.

It seems she left out the Chief Rabbi if so.

No it’s silly for anyone to use. Harman laughed it off, on here it’s Mi5 level.

She didn't laugh it off at all. She considered reporting it to the police but in the end she chose to accept Badenoch' apology. That's hardly laughing about it.

mumumental · 12/09/2026 17:41

Now, why do multi millionaires want so much for Reform to get in. That is the key issue.

Some Rabbis, obviously. Not all Rabbis will have the same view. As pp says the Chief Rabbi is against them. Others aren't.

You only know about it because she answered what’s the worst thing you’ve done question. Obviously not realising how much people grab on to it and level it up as on here.

More a floating voter. I’ve voted for Labour twice.

And where do your loyalties rest, currently?

Coogan has been softening us up all this time… 😭

Exactly this and do you know something else it's not just Farage. It was Matt Goodwin who first came out as Partridge and of course Jenrick.
I didn't see much of James Orr but started to become suspicious.
It's not often you see any of them together...
And Partridge has actually played two people in one famous clip. I won't post it.

Hard data.

Here we go.

My question is why these crapto billionaires are donating this much money. Is it because they want Reform to deregulate craptoxxxx? And why is that? Do they have links to criminal gangs who want to easily launder money? Are Reform for sale? In some ways, I support Reform's policies. I do want controls on immigration. However, I am worried that this discussion of immigration control is a smokescreen for bringing in deregulation of craptoxxxx. Would it enable these crapto billionaires to make more money?

I can answer that as one.

Because I am fucked off being taxed to the nth degree by Labour. I rather suspect Reform will be more benevolent to me.

There’s one datapoint for you.

That is not true. It was known about long before then. I think her answer to what was the worst thing you have done was reporting a fellow pupil for cheating or something like that.

Eta: actually you are partly right. It was in response to the naughtiest thing she has ever done. But the worst thing was reporting a fellow pupil.

So which leader do you like best then?

While this government announces sanctions against ‘Israel’ ( Jewish, innit) to buy votes in Holborn -utterly shameless.

Edited

Do you think the other 11 countries that announced sanctions against the illegal settlements were also trying to buy votes in Holborn?

Warmlight1 · 12/09/2026 17:57

Isn't it a bit - well- odd that Mumsnet filters out crip- toe?;
Why is that? Is it like - we can talk about budgeting and even shares but not seriously large money?
Is it protective in case people get scammed?
Is crip- toe inherently dodgy?

Well, if you're a multi millionaire, you're probably right - you will probably get richer under Reform, so if you want to vote purely on the basis of self interest, they might be a good choice for you personally.

They will be a disastrous choice for the country as a whole, including the majority of people who vote for them, but you may not care about that.

I stopped caring to a large extent when I quickly discovered how bent this Labour government are.

The most disastrous government in my memory.

Reform has stated that it will deregulate crapto and cut tax on crapto profits. It is also keen to block the Bank of England introducing its own state-run crapto which would obviously take profits away from their rich supporters.

I don't think Farage actually gives a shit about immigration but he is happy to exploit the issue for his own gain.

Alright random billionaire mumsnetter how much tax do you actually pay?! I am a lowly 40% tax payer and quite happy to pay my way, that's how society works.

What do you think reform will do for the average woman on the street or don't you give a shit about them? Should we have poorhouses? Orphans cleaning chimneys?

If you don't pay tax who funds services? Prisons? Police? Are you going to empty your own bins? What if you lost everything tomorrow? Became disabled and couldn't recoup it? You happy in the gutter? How are reform going to fund their promises without taxing you further? So very many questions...
