I think I have been clear that I consider this government to be inept when it comes to policy, and that includes their mis-management of the economy, hence my comment concerning a Labour government-led fiscal or economic crisis. That will be fully on Burnham’s watch, and his responsibility.

You are evading the question that I asked and I think that other posters have asked, which is:

Why would Burnham call an early GE? He has a massive majority so could not be forced to do so.

The only reason would be if he was really confident that Labour would win.

What difference do you think it would make to your life if crapto was deregulated, whatever that means, I thought it was pretty much deregulated anyway, but the average person isn"t going to want paid in crapto are they? Although I have met people from certain busted South American economies who were immediately converting their salary to crapto to try to hold some value. Who cares if a crapto billionaire makes more money anyway, certainly not the average phone drone you see zombie walking their way down the street??

I did not say Burnham would call an early GE, but I can see a scenario where an economic crisis would precipitate a vote of no confidence, and a subsequent GE.

Why would it be a good idea for someone like you, who has been explicit in your support for the Tory Party, to pretend that you don't like any of the options on offer?

I mean, if you've gone off the Tories and don't support them any more, then fair enough, but otherwise I'm not sure that it's such a great idea.

It's entirely possible to dislike and/or be uninspired by all of the options on offer while simultaneously disliking some more than others.
