So anyway, the thing is that along with the power of all the deregulation Reform would being, these billionaires seem to share some very rigid and depressing ideas about women and rights. Basically as far As I can see it would all go down the swanney. Maternity, flexible working, women saying things which aren't convenient ( as we often have to do) disabled people's rights and children's rights.
Celebrating assault on women that sort of thing.
You know if they were just going to on long foreign holidays at least they'd be somewhere else. But they have plans......

Labour has low taxes, in fact. People are obsessed about tax. Believe me, if the far right gets in, you will need all the extra income you can get. To pay for health, education, you name it.

People will be in for a huge shock. If the rich get that much richer, then there is less for the rest, whether they are initially pretending to kiss your ass for votes or not.

I'm actually interested @Greyrock79 why you would support reform over conservatives? I get you don't like labour, but why reform?

Genuine answer - I’m a natural Conservative, but I recognise the 14-year scar tissue may take some time to heal. Rather than risk my vote on them, currently, I would opt for Reform.

My base case is that Burnham will not last the next three years because of some crisis, probably fiscal/economic.

For the record, I am no fan of Farage and many of his policies.

And if you consider the condition of Elon Musk and also Ben Delo- both neurodivergent- the black and white nature of the anti abortion argument is a lot easier than the grey area.
As is the idea that we support married couples with kids over non married.
It makes more sense now why Tice and co who are all divorced suddenly found marriage- for other people.
