As an American I would like to personally apologize for this. On the flip side, I have been telling Christians to leave the church for a LONG time; because Christian Nationalism has relabeled the faith. This guy, is definitely out of timeouts.

Even those voted for him are ashamed of him right now.

I certainly hope so, but I fear a good contingent is incapable of feeling shame (and I say that as an other embarrassed American).

Weird. It’s almost like he’s trying to alienate some of his fan base. Or maybe see how far he can push the Trump Cult before people peak.

To act like an idiot to distract the globe and succeed at the distraction isn't so dumb a tactic, but it certainly challenges any future viewpoint of his integrity by his voting public. Do I think he's mad, no. I do think he takes a whole lot of risks that others wouldn't, however. We'll see how this risk taking plays out in November I guess?

It’s so weird. He is so very weird and creepy. There does seem to have been a bit of a backlash so it will be interesting to see if he removes it, doubles down or just ignores it. I assume he doesn’t actually understand very much about Christianity or blasphemy, not being Christian himself.

Personally I don't think he's fit for public office. The man is a ridiculous, cringing embarrassment.

Jesus Christ has nothing to do with politics and anyone who tries to make it that way is not in the way of Jesus Christ.

We, as Christians, are aware of false prophets and false idols including those who say they represent Christianity, but actually represent evil, society, themselves or whatever else.

So, that being said, I don't understand what you mean when you say you've told Americans to leave 'the church,' since there are numerous denominations.
