I don’t know if it will. It is clear this is am effort to intimidate the judiciary but you can see on this thread that people just shrug their shoulders and say they oh well they probably deserved to be arrested. It’s like there is a lack of comprehension of how democracy should work.

Well, as to your saying "I don't know if it will" to my post: No one is safe. I'm actually pleased at the arrest of a judge, as I hope that this will shock people who have thus far been complacent...
I think it's fair to say that none of us knows what will happen. It's not just the lack of understanding of democracy, but statistics turned up a horrifyingly large chunk of the population saying, in effect, Meh, democracy isn't that great and maybe we'd do better with a dictator. Also, the lack of central news - as opposed to when everyone had the same TV sources, pre-internet - means that a lot of people are oblivious of real news.
A lot of people are cheering very minor court victories, which I think mean little. I'm starting, counter-intuitively, to cheer bad behavior so outrageous that maybe it will make a dent in public consciousness.
