Just shed a tear. Am I insane? When he thanked his wife, I really understand the disappointment even if he deserved to be defeated.

It was a nice speech but I think he is basically a very nice , polite person . I disagree with the poster who said he’s in it for the money , he may be in it for the power but definitely not the money .

About 3 weeks ago I told someone that I think that both Starmer and Sunak are basically decent blokes. Maybe I'm wrong. Sunak did inherit a heap of muck.

Well that was a different Rishi to the one we saw in the last few weeks so I'm not sure I'm believing him.

I agree. His behaviour throughout the campaign was abhorrent.
