Curious to know how many people would still vote Tory if Liz lands the job. I would think she will lose them the next election..?
Maybe Rishi will run as an independent candidate?

How would you vote in the next General Election? And why?

No one, sadly. They are all either stupid, corrupt or captured by gender woo woo. Or a combo. Nope. I'll have to spoil my ballot and that really upsets me.

im surprised by some posters here who are still suggesting Tory now.. when I started this thread I did not see the events of the last ten days unfolding! Surely now you wouldn’t still vote Tory??

I understand the importance of the gender biology recognition & womens rights of course; but I wouldn’t ruin my vote or vote conservative just on that issue!! Tory policy negatively affects women disproportionately, that to me is more important. x

SNP, more than ever I feel Scotland needs to be independent from Westminster and whilst they’re not perfect by any stretch of the imagination I like a lot of what they have done and by and large I agree with their (centre left) policies.

Ladywiddio48 · 02/10/2022 14:56

Wait and see who the candidates are in my area.Michael Fabric**t is the current MP,Conservative, have never voted for him and never will.

Nobody they all the same self serving pigs at the trough lining there own pocket useless MPs .

Bovrilly · 02/10/2022 15:49

In despair that anyone would vote for funding tax cuts for billionaires by austerity measures and cutting welfare during a cost of living crisis, however committed they are to the definition of a woman. I can only assume these people think they will be relatively unaffected and are utterly selfish twats, happy to see people lose their homes, the NHS be dismantled, schools asking children to bring in blankets because they can't afford to heat their buildings etc etc. Utterly stupid, selfish twats.

Agreed sadly as a ex labour voter ☹️

Shinyandnew1 · 02/10/2022 15:55

I will vote for the MP most likely to beat the Tory candidate. Almost certainly Labour.

Anyone who will get the Tories out.
Labour in our area.

👆🏻

Toryscum · 02/10/2022 16:14

I’m a parent so I’m worried about me and my kids future under a useless unelectable labour government under starmer .

I despise the tories before anyone asks .

LaQuern · 02/10/2022 16:16

Labour

BiggerBoat1 · 02/10/2022 16:19

Labour.

jocktamsonsbairn · 02/10/2022 17:37

GrouchyKiwi · 09/08/2022 20:34

They're all terrible, so I tend to vote for whoever is most likely to unseat the SNP in my constituency.

Snap

kikisparks · 02/10/2022 18:47

@Hugocat1 I know a lot of people (including me) who can’t imagine how anyone could vote Tory.

FlippertyGibberts · 02/10/2022 18:53

Anyone apart from the Tories.

SwordToFlamethrower · 02/10/2022 18:55

I'm in absolute bits because I genuinely have no one i can vote for. I am a socialist but because of how the Greens and Labour are with women's rights, I can't in all good conscience vote for them.

Tories are rotten but at least they know what a woman is, understand what is happening to children's safeguarding and are willing to come down hard on this issue!

But I can't vote tory as a socialist.

Breaks my heart honestly.

pompomdaisy · 02/10/2022 18:56

Labour but I'm in a Labour constituency and always vote Labour.

SerenaVanDerWoodsenHumphrey · 02/10/2022 19:04

Impossible to say for me without knowing who the candidates are. My (SNP) MP seemed sound for a long time but will almost definitely be deselected. Labour seem to somehow always pick really poor candidates to run, which is short-sighted as it was a Labour safe seat for about a century before flipping in 2015. Conservatives reliably come in a distant third here, with Scot Greens and Lib Dems switching off 4th and 5th place and the candidate for whatever UKIP is calling itself this year always at risk of losing their deposit.

I wouldn't vote Conservative, but for people here who would, I think they'd prefer Truss to Sunak.

red4321 · 02/10/2022 19:07

Conservative. But only by default as I wouldn't vote for any of the alternatives.

notdaddycool · 02/10/2022 19:11

Labour will walk this constituency, I’m basically a one nation Tory, not many of them left, so politically homeless. If there was an election tomorrow I would not vote.

Mum2jenny · 02/10/2022 19:43

Could not vote for Labour, so it’d be Conservatives by default as the rest are unelectable
