Assuming it's true.

Can Mogg use a smart phone though?

He's only just taken delivery of his new What The Butler Saw machine.

I always remember seeing a colourful shaped children's bath accessory with a face that looked the absolute spit of him - and the product was labelled on the shelf 'fun sponge' Grin

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 29/04/2022 02:10

Was it somebody desperately checking that his eyesight was still OK?

TooBigForMyBoots · 29/04/2022 02:29

Is there a sweepstakes going? I'll take Iain Duncan Smith.

EllaB22 · 29/04/2022 08:16

Says everything about the party that they have not named the MP and allowed the public to speculate it is others to protect the disgusting one.

I work in a school ... imagine a teacher was casually viewing porn whilst supposed to be working. They would be sent home right away.

Here we have the role models of society falling over themselves to keep the identity a secret.

Kendodd · 28/04/2022 22:52

I bet if it was Johnson he still wouldn't resign.
I think someone said on Twitter.
First he would deny any porn was watched.
Then he'd say nobody told him it was porn.
Then he'd say nobody's interested in whether he watched porn.
Then he'd say it's time to move on from watching porn.

@Kendodd that's exactly what I can imagine him saying!

Surely watching porn at work is gross misconduct, even in the cesspool that is parliament???????????

BornBlonde · 29/04/2022 08:21

TheSpottedZebra · 28/04/2022 23:45

It is worth repeating that 56 MPs are currently under investigation for sexual harassment.

Currently.

@TheSpottedZebra I feel so uneducated not knowing this.

Absolutely disgusted that this is not headline news with a severe overhaul of a culture where this can happen

Stokey · 29/04/2022 08:23

It's not a minister. It will be some random old school back bencher that no-one is very aware of.

Still there was a great article on Popbitch about MPs trying to access porn at the time of the Danien Green

Stokey · 29/04/2022 08:25

Whoops posted too soon.... at the time of the Damien Greene scandal on parliamentary computers.

The scale of the problem was pretty big even then though. One of the final months there's official data for (Sept 2016) shows 32,164 attempts made in 30 days – roughly 1,070 a day. To put that in context, that's someone trying to access porn once a minute, every minute, ~18 hours a day.

mind boggling.

AmberGer · 28/04/2022 22:53

I hope it's my local one and they can fuck him off for good.
Slimy fucker always gets voted in round here aswell 🙄

Exactly what I came here to say. My local MP is Julian Lewis. He’s been serving since 1997 somehow and seriously needs to do one now.

LEnferCestLesAutres · 29/04/2022 08:32

I think Gove or Ben Wallace.
(Wonder if this was leaked by BJ? He’s successfully got rid of Rishi as a leadership threat - now time to pick off the others?)

hellcatspanglelalala · 29/04/2022 08:36

sobeyondthehills · 29/04/2022 01:01

Rees Mog
Gove
Johnathan Gullis

I'd have gone for Gullis but he's not a front bencher is he? Just an arsehole.

TheAbbotOfUnreason · 29/04/2022 08:37

BlackboardMonitorVimes · 28/04/2022 23:10

Wow. Read the post to the tune of Gloria Goynor 'I will survive'!

Go on now, go, walk out the door
Just turn around now
'Cause you're not welcome anymore …

Very apt!

jaundicedoutlook · 29/04/2022 08:39

If it was Mogg it would most likely be Victorian porn. The type where someone is covering up a table leg with a doily whilst dressed as Prince Albert.

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2022 08:41

It's all a bit bunga bunga in Parliament at the moment. To think I used to roll my eyes at Berlusconi's antics.

girlmom21 · 29/04/2022 08:42

SilverBirchWithout · 29/04/2022 01:15

Much speculation on Twitter that it is Raab.

He's not an idiot. It won't be him.

MissStarry · 29/04/2022 08:45

Shapps

moodyseagull · 29/04/2022 08:45

It's not Ben Wallace

girlmom21 · 29/04/2022 08:42

I'm not sure on what you base your assertion that he's not an idiot...what with his remarks about the importance or otherwise of Dover to EU trade, going on holiday during a major international crisis, and so on...

RockinHorseShit · 29/04/2022 08:52

It's definitely him 👀

Though weirdly this has disappeared from the net since first shared yesterday 🤔... maybe it really is him, I'd love that it really is the pious prick

So who do we think the porn watching Tory was?
PurpleDaisies · 29/04/2022 08:58

girlmom21 · 29/04/2022 08:42

He's not an idiot. It won't be him.

There is no evidence show that Dominic Raab is not an idiot. Deputy PM counts as a minister surely though, so it can’t be him.

The standard of the cabinet at the moment is absolutely abysmal.

EvilPea · 29/04/2022 08:58

Was it during prime ministers questions? Or was that just when it came out.

i rewatched it yesterday. We know it’s a front bencher who was sat next to a woman.
that narrows it down to about 4 men. I could see one woman glaring at someone’s phone.

It didn’t happen during this week’s pmqs.

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2022 09:01

This makes for depressing reading - very little discipline and women out off from complaining "don't worry, you're not his type."

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2022 09:01

Put off from complaining

Oh that puts play to my sleuthing then.
Grin
I knew it broke then but wasn’t sure if it happened then.

its such a small place with everyone bustling for seats, the fron bench is heavily over looked by other colleagues, press and public galleries. whoever did it, it was done to be caught and with utter contempt for their colleagues as well as the public office they hold.
