Trump has teased there will be a huge announcement at his rally in Ames, Iowa tonight. Special guest will be there.

Elites across the world are in panic, luvvies are having a lie down, Oxbridge is tuned in, PPES are petrified.

Will Palin endorse Trump? Is it game over for the Establishment?

No one knows. Elites are in meltdown and Trump fans are already doing the hokey-cokey.

Oh claig, you always make me giggle.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 20/01/2016 10:54

Perhaps it'll be a Carmen Miranda type wall topping. Ornamental everything. Including cacti.

Quiero · 20/01/2016 11:00

The opening line to this song is 'Are you surprised when you see me trumping?'

claig · 20/01/2016 11:05

Great song. That deserves to be number one. But I suspect the Establishment will do everything they can to stop it topping the charts. There is no level to which they won't stoop to stop The Trump.

I can't take Sarah Palin seriously, I find her shrieky ditsy and a bit happy-clappy

I think Trump may reveal himself to be a tall ginger version of kim jong un if he gets in power

Kewcumber · 20/01/2016 11:14

From The New Yorker...

But even as the Trump campaign staffers celebrate the Palin endorsement, they recognize that they still have their work cut out for them to secure victory in Iowa. “Getting the idiots to support Trump is only half the battle,” the aide said. “Now we have to make sure that they make it to the caucuses without getting lost on the way.”

Quiero · 20/01/2016 11:16

"Please use quote marks."

"Hold on, the nonsensical shit that is being spouted on here, and the bit YOU object to is the lack of quote marks."

Obviously - this is Mumsnet!

claig · 20/01/2016 11:18

It doesn't matter if Trump loses Iowa. He has to win New Hampshire. It is close between Trump and Cruz in Iowa due to the high evangelical vote in Iowa. But, and this is what scares the Establishment stiff, if Trump wins in Iowa then Trump "runs the table" and it is a clean sweep all the way to the Republican convention. Then they will need to pull every dirty trick in their book to stop the people getting Trump as their candidate.

It is going to be one hell of a ride. All eyes are on Iowa on Feb 1. If Trump wins in Iowa, elites across the world will start saying "our game is up".

Ah bless.... Don't you really want to support him after this endorsement?

Quiero · 20/01/2016 11:38

She's worse than him.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 11:46

In case you haven't noticed, I have objected to loads. Including quote marks.
It's really annoying me at the moment.

Claig, I'm used to him.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 11:47

He says Mexico will pay for the wall

Sure, all the drug traffickers are people smugglers are already pouring money in.

Quiero · 20/01/2016 11:51

Ironically, just by being elected Trump could halt immigration. He won't need a wall because no fucker's going to want to live there.

He'll need a fence to stop people leaving.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 11:55

Canada should prepare for this.
And the UK.

claig · 20/01/2016 12:05

There have been reports in the past that Palin would like Trump to make her Secretary of State for Energy and she has said she would shut the Department down.

The global warming crowd must be having nightmares. This was not how "the game" was meant to be played. Cameron allegedly said "we've gotta cut the green crap" but he didn't mean anyone to take it seriously. Grin

The Stump for Trump sisters, Diamond and Silk, have even made it onto the pages of the Guardian. There is a clip of them invited onto the stage by Trump at the live Trump rally

"Obama had been speaking for almost 45 minutes before launching into the final stretch of his speech, but Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson were not impressed.

“I don’t want another career politician. They are all talk and no action,” said Diamond.

Diamond and Silk, both former Democrats, had voted for Obama in both 2008 and 2012. But by 2015, they’d had enough.

Today, Diamond and Silk are Republicans. And they are voting for Trump."

'I don't suppose there's a 'C*s for Trump?'

No, none of the Establishment support Trump.

That just made me choke on a jalepeno Grin possibly to the point of needing medical assistance

Comment of the week needs to be returned by MNHQ just for that beaut.

I thought Trumps anti immigration views extended some way beyond the border with Mexico? Might need more than just pineapples.

Snigger...

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 20/01/2016 13:11

Well, I've been having a little look out of my office window, in the City where I may expect to see panicking elite/establishment (which..btw. I say in my head as elite stroke establishment - rather fitting) as I believe this is one of their main hunting grounds, and all I see is lots of cold people in suits trying to decide on which Pret they will visit for lunch today.

Maybe they're wanting to flap on full stomachs and it will all kick off around 3pm (once the post lunch snooze has been had).

Lweji · 20/01/2016 13:12

And twice the number of body guards, I expect.

I can see the White House parties already. Half filled with the Kardashians.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 13:15

Cat, the elites are arriving by helicopter, surely. Not walking around the street in suits.

What does Sur Alain Shugar think, though?

claig · 20/01/2016 13:17

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours, those ones are probably not flapping and panicking because they are Trump supporters - the silent majority.

I do like the phrase "there is no level to which they won't stoop to stop The Trump"

Puts me in mind of extreme buttock clenching. Which to be fair, is what some of Trumps statements make me want to do.
