Trump has teased there will be a huge announcement at his rally in Ames, Iowa tonight. Special guest will be there.

Elites across the world are in panic, luvvies are having a lie down, Oxbridge is tuned in, PPES are petrified.

Will Palin endorse Trump? Is it game over for the Establishment?

No one knows. Elites are in meltdown and Trump fans are already doing the hokey-cokey.

They are roughly the same. The elites are the real big shots and the Establishment class is their set of bought and paid for hangers-on who try and turn the people against Trump.

Just the idea of Trump being anti-establishment is laughable.
On the contrary. It seems to me he is very much pro-establishment and pro-elites.
Sexist, anti-immigration, anti-welfare, pro-gun, pro-military intervention.
I'm sure they (whoever they are) are quite happy.

I hate to be a party pooper- but people do know that claig's taking the piss, don't they?

'I'm sure they (whoever they are) are quite happy'

Have you seen their faces lately? If worried sick and losing it is "happy", then they are ecstatic.

'I thought last night was all a bit of an anticlimax. I expected more Claig.'

It wasn't as good as it could have been. Trump sounded a little bit tired but he does a rally every single day so that is not surprising and Palin spoke too quickly and could have delivered a better, more hard-hitting speech, but at the end of teh day, it achieved its objective, to wreak havoc among the elite class.

Did I mention climate change and oil?

Your elites may not want to be seen supporting him, but I doubt they would be upset should he win.

And how friendly he is with Putin?
He is no friend to the US. Or democracy.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 09:37

Not sure I have seen their faces.

Perhaps you could point out whose faces they are, so we could analyse them.
Is that the elites? Or the establishment?

AthelstaneTheUnready · 20/01/2016 09:39

I've just looked outside again, Claig, and there are still no desperately anxious elites pacing the street in little clusters.

There's a woodpecker and a couple of coaltits, if that would do?

claig · 20/01/2016 09:39

'Elites and the establishment were George Dubya and his alleged Bohemia grove gang a few years ago.'

Yes and the same lot are mocking Trump, calling him a "joke" and saying he can never become President. They think it is their birthright. But now they are in meltdown as their Wall Street millions are spent and wasted and Trump's polls go ever higher.

They can't stop Trump and some of them fear what investigations and legal procedures Trump might start if he gets in. They thought they had it tied up but Trump has stitched them up in knots. Panic is the best way to describe what is going on in Establishment circles around the world.

I woke up this morning and I thought, I had a weird dream last night, then I checked my e-mails and it was no dream. That whole Trumperand Palin fiasco was real Shock

AthelstaneTheUnready · 20/01/2016 09:43

Claig, sweetie, you don't stitch knots. Knots just happen when you're in a hurry.

claig · 20/01/2016 09:45

'Did I mention climate change and oil? '

Didn't you see the world's entire political class, the great and the good and puppets of every description holding hands aloft and singing kumbaya at the Climate Conference COP in Paris when they announced their "deal".

Trump has said "global warming is bullshit".

The entire political establishment of the world is petrified of a Trump Presidency because they know their kumbaya will end, the musical chairs will stop and when the music stops some of the elite are going to fall flat on their butts when Trump pulls the chair away.

It's over and they know it.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 09:47

Except for sailors or mountain climbers, but as far as I know they tie knots. Stitching is for sewing.

I keep telling you he's a paid non-uk troll

GingerCuddleMonsterThe2nd · 20/01/2016 09:48

You can't seriously deny global warming is happening.

A) it's the natural cycle of a planet's eco system so happens regardless.

B) humans have made this natural cycle occur faster at a alarming rate.

Lweji · 20/01/2016 09:49

Yes, I saw their "deal".

Which will have very few practical implications but has kept people who are worried about their children's future happy.

The fact is that your elite will continue regardless. And they are not anti-Trump.

Quiero · 20/01/2016 09:51

I wish they'd bring back Spitting Image. Politics is ripe for it at the moment.
