What makes me so sad is that Home Start work with families who are reaching breaking point for all sorts of different reasons, what they do is vital. So here's a good idea, let's cut their funding!

But how can it be anything less than a crime when these early intervention services don?t survive the cuts?

I checked out Gingerbread website earlier and have noticed that Mumsnet have been included in their list of "helpers" which has made me BEAM (and do a little happy cry in all honesty)

The thing I'm finding so incredible is that every single day there's a news story which feeds into frothers - how about the pushing by the BBC of those thieving scum payday loans companies today?

^My wife and I work, we aren't rich and struggle to save and we both feel that we are paying for everyone else already, we'd love a 5% increase in our income too!

We see people who are "Poorer" than us without jobs smoking, drinking and not curbing their spending and living in brand new social housing.

We'd like someone to think about us for a change!^
