land of litotes

[Papillon]

I am in the Yurt, as it needed a spring clean (well its spring in my homeland). While cleaning the Yurt it shifted slightly to be aligned with the autumn winds of the north. Therefore Litotes needed a slight adjustment also.

I saw this on conception thread and thought WOW soupy , hope you dont mind me using it as magical calming dust in here for any stressed mummys!!

I was just thinking about air mattresses this morning - I must have read your mind. If you came over I would sort out a double mattress for you - no worries about that. Our couch converts into a double bed too... Don´t have a cot for the little one though! So might have to get creatively unconventional in that department!

But I do understand that you don´t need extra stress right now and I must admit the journey by myself to England was very tiring. But I guess that was cos I slept (or rather didn´t sleep) in a tent for 2 nites which was the killer really.

Just see how you feel when the builder gives you confirmation of dates perhaps? And see how you are doing then? (((((BIG HUG))))))

Hi Titana these things take time and abit of practise. You have alot on now. While lying there your mind is probably filled with a million other things so it will be extra difficult atm for you to find a quiet space inside that brain of yours! I mean to try and still the mind or clear it of thought is no easy task. Try and think of your mind as a muscle that is undeveloped in areas and needs a workout at the gym.

It might help if you imagine a place that you like and feel comfortable with visiting with your father. Take him to this place e.g. a waterfall, a big tree to sit next to, a garden with your favourite things inside. Do not expect an instant situation. Let the scenario grow in your mind.

I could give you a visualisation starter kit if you like... it might get the ball rolling for you. Let me know.

Thanks paps - the story sounds good. Not trying to stay away to be smutty, just find that easier to do 'on the hoof', don't seem to get much time to concentrate on MN atm - so if I try and post on here I end up wittering nonsense (is that any change though??)

Having hard time of late , so sorry if my postings are erratic.

Awww paps a double mattress sounds ace. I think what we'll do is bring her travel cot, plus buggy and a large suitcase between all of us!!!! Dh can carry it !!

Its just sorting the dates with builders ,they can never be pinned down gggggrrrrr, Im getting excited now, dh was looking at flights lastnight on EasyJet!!(good sign huh??!!). We're trying for the 7th Dec Tues back on the 11th or 12th I think.

Forgot to say in litotes tradition , we are of course all sitting on the deck in warm blankets and robes , it is of course balmy weather here all year round. We are all noshing on fruit and drinking herb teas.

Hello everyone. It is a cold grey day in the North and so I have lit a fire in the winter room and am lying on purple velvet cushions toasting a muffin and reading "The Woman in white".

I have also got some very low oboe music playing and a jug of hot chocolate next to a huge vase of homegrown roses from the summer room.
