That’s so wonderful about your son speakout really pleased for him, and you. I loved the story of the crystal you gave him too.

I know what you mean about the clearing- I’ve recently done spices, toiletries and stationery- there’s something about ‘getting to be bottom of things’ and the sense a stability it can give you I think. My office requires attention in this way and is in my periphery vision, although not yet made its way to the top of my list for attention!

One thing I’m enjoying about my time off is more freedom to be able to focus on what piques my interest rather than what has to be done.

I’m heading to the garden centre soon- I want to repot this mini Yule tree I have and watch it grow for next year along the intentions I’ll set while I plant it. I quite like to bury items that represent what I’d like to see grow when I plant something- so I might focus on finances and stability with this one- (maybe a coin, a key and whatever else comes to me..) it’ll give a nice time frame between now and the winter solstice to slowly and steadily grow to fruition

Morning witchy ones! 🧙‍♀️
Still no baby yet.....
I have been doing my usual lurking on this thread and contributing positive energy even when not posting.. 🎇

A dear friend came for a cards reading and gossip the other day, and we had a lovely day by the fire with crumpets, tea and sloe gin.
She is troubled about an issue and together we planned the ritual we will do together to resolve the matter.. so what you were saying about personal responsibility, YashmisCrone, resonates with me.

Love the DruidCraft Tarot, TooManyPaws.

Wishing you all ✨

VioletCharlotte · 04/01/2019 12:31

Hello all. Some lovely posts this morning, reading them has made me feel all warm inside!

Giggorata sloe gin and crumpets... what a marvellous way to spend an afternoon!

Yashmis and Speakout it's so nice to hear you're both taking some time out to look after yourselves and rest and recharge. I can feel the positive energy from you both 🌟

I'm planning a trip to the garden centre this weekend too. I've had a feeling for a while that I need to bring more nature indoors, so I want to buy a few more houseplants.

I'm working from home today. One of my intentions is to try and do this twice a week if I can. I find the long commute to work and office environment is very draining. I'm very lucky that I can work from home, but I've been conditioned over the years to feel I should be in the office. I keep having to remind myself I'm much more useful to them if I'm happy and well!

It's a beautiful day here. Cold and bright. I'm going to take my lunch break now and go out for a walk with the dog. Hope you all enjoy your day.

queenrollo · 04/01/2019 14:01

I'm clearing and tidying too. Especially cosmetics and bathroom cabinets. I don't like waste and am guilty of hanging on to things 'just in case' but am realising ever more that they are just obstacles which block the free flow of positive energy. I am stripping many things down to the very basics so that I connect much better with using these items meaningfully.
I have been reading around various astrological predictions for my star sign(s) and many of them gave for exactly the type of start I had to the year, and a sudden clearing into positive energy on the 3rd/4th.
I woke at 5am feeling really energised and several creative ideas exploding in my mind in an electric blue light.
I don't generally connect too well with astrology, except on the bigger scale like this. I am also a cusp baby and have never really been sure exactly which sign I fall into, I definitely have traits of both.

My eldest child has now gone to his dad's for a week, it leaves quite a different energy in the house. Both in a good and sad way.

speakout · 04/01/2019 17:37

YashmisCrone

Lovely idea about planting items withroots.

I sometimes plant with crystals too.

That's a good idea VioletCharlotte to work from home. Breaks the monotony and the commute. Plus doggy will be 😊

Nice to see that lovely view YashmisCrone. I wish I could get the clearing bug but I'm just not ready yet. Will have to force myself to take the decorations down tomorrow.

HillsBesideTheSea · 04/01/2019 21:35

I am all emotionally discombobulated atm. Part of it is pain levels, part of it is lack of sleep, part of it is the bonkers that happened during December. Finding it difficult to un discombobulate. Any suggestions?

My battery operated fairy lights and glass bead pot toppers (see picture) don't work as I had imagined they would together. Currently drawn to turning them into a set of runes. They are very tactile and green is a very soothing colour to me (probably connected to my need to being around plants and trees).

Btw I caved and glitter hairspray has become my shiny shielding. Amazing the difference it makes Grin and I don't care if technically it is not age appropriate

queenrollo · 05/01/2019 00:18

I have been out this evening and oh boy did I need a night in a busy place, with amazing musicians and a whole room full of people with beautiful positive, caring energy.
I am buzzing now and need to go to bed!!

Hillsbesidethesea those glass beads are amazing. Green is my favourite colour.

GruciusMalfoy · 05/01/2019 10:35

Hi everyone, I've not been around for a while, but I hope you're all doing well and had a nice time over Yule and New Year.

VioletCharlotte · 05/01/2019 11:10

Morning all
Queenrollo sounds like you had a great night. If the energy is right, being in a crowd of people can be really uplifting.

Grucius good to hear from you 😊

I was up early this morning. Did a yoga session (I'm doing a 30 day yoga challenge), then did some meditation and spoke to my guide which was wonderful. The message he gave me was to keep going, even when times are dark, spirit will always be with me and to keep following the light.

I'm still feeling quite dreamy, enjoying a coffee before getting on with the day.

Hope you all have a good Saturday 🙏

YashmisCrone · 05/01/2019 12:09

Gigg I was wondering if the baby had arrived yet! Tea, crumpets and tarot sound like a perfect way to spend an afternoon, I’m sure you were a great comfort to your friend. Wishing you all the best with your ritual.

Violet What a lovely way to start the day! Hearing about it makes me feel warm. Lovely message from your guide. Also, that sounds like a great plan re: working from home more. Particularly in terms of generating the kind of feeling you’d like to get from work- I think that’ll really help with manifesting the kind of change you want in your working life. I’m wondering if you could work with the intuition you have about bringing plants into your home to help draw a new job to you if that’s what you’d like to do. I really enjoyed my tree magic yesterday choosing a pot that felt right, planting it with items that represented what I’d like to draw in.

queenrollo Your evening sounds fabulous, just what you needed. that’s also really interesting about the astrology- what a powerful experience. Lovely to hear about the influx of creative energy you had yesterday too. There’s a powerful energy in the shift you felt- it sounds like it’s building momentum.

Hills I love the glitter hairspray thing!! You do make me laugh. What a brilliant idea. Sorry to hear of your discombobulation. Self care is key I think, as well as anything that works to ease the pain. I think it can be very hard to feel peace when you’re in pain. It sounds like anything that connects you with nature would help soothe you emotionally. I quite like shamanic journeying meditation for bringing parts of myself back together when I feel discombobulated. I think I’ve mentioned it before but I’m fond of this book I found in a second hand shop years ago. I think it gives some good ideas for ‘journeys’

Sokere I’ve been lucky to have had a lot of time to myself which is why I think I have some energy to clear now. It sounds like you’ve been ‘peopled out’ so I’m not surprised you don’t feel like it. That said, I do think once the decorations are down it’ll shift the energy a bit. I treated myself to some potted hyacinths to fill the space and invite new positive energy in. I really like this music speakout shared with us for whipping up clearing energy

m.youtube.com/watch?v=04fEWQOwUD4

speakout Me too! I ended up with a piece of Icelandic spar calcite as one of my planting ritual items for clear sight and successful navigation of the complex financial landscape ahead of me. Feeling positive about moving forward

Good to see you Grucius 👋

Hope everyone has a little magic in their weekend 💫

BartonHollow · 05/01/2019 12:15

I am planning a ritual tonight so I have to go out and get ingredients, very cold here, but worth it. Happy weekend everyone!

(PPD Wink)

YashmisCrone · 05/01/2019 12:22

@BartonHollow

Exciting stuff! I like the gathering of ingredients as part of the process of building up the energy of the ritual. I don’t know if you’ve seen but I finally responded to your PM!

speakout · 05/01/2019 12:34

Morning everyone.

Back from a shopping trip, just having a coffee before doing some ( light) housework.

Yes to the planning of rituals.

For me the planning stage can be almost as important as te ritual itself- the energy we build up in the research, buying supplies, finding or writing the spell.
Always pays of in terms of powerful manifestation- and great fun!!

You know you're in good company, male and female, when you start emptying out pockets and handbags and comparing jewelery because you have discovered a mutual love of crystals! Honestly the vibrational energy there last night was amazing.
I've taken steps this morning towards moving a hobby onto the next level. And seen a friend, new but I think one who will become very meaningful in my life.
I am being careful to temper this extremely high energy with some meditation to balance me.

This afternoon I have a few minor sewing repairs to make to clothing belonging to various members of family. I'm going to light some incense and be sure to sew lots of good intentions into my stitches.

Lovely to hear you are feeling so energised by your evening out with good friends.

@YashmisCrone

It was only a partial success - quite hard to find things when what you want is specific

Went in to 5 differentshops looking for

A bell

A toy snake

Zero success had to substitute 😂

speakout · 05/01/2019 17:25

*A bell

Sound intriuiging!

Use of symbolism speak Grin

speakout · 05/01/2019 18:29

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable evening.

I have bought myself a nice cedar candle then stumbled across a beautiful raku bowl in a charity shop, grey and silver which fits my candle perfectly.

So again having some quiet ( as quiet as it can be with 5 of us in the house) time.
Tomorrow up early morning for a body pump session.

OP posts:
BlankTimes · 05/01/2019 18:30

Lovely to hear of everyone's adventures, hopefully I'll be able to contribute more soon. I'm reading often and the uplifting vibe is so very strong.

The planning etc, it's great fun isn't it, a good friend always used to refer to it as foreplay Halloween Grin

Along the lines of someone unhelpfully stating the obvious when the need has passed BH, next time you need a bell, check out pet toys, loads have bells. This season lots of now discounted decorations also have bells.

Re the pet section, you'd be likely to find a toy snake there too. Or kids' sweets, liquorice or strawberry laces can impersonate a snake.

I love the sound of bells, chimes, tings and have far too many some hanging in different rooms, on cupboard handles, by an open window etc. so natural movement throughout my house often results in a musical accompaniment.

speakout · 05/01/2019 18:32

I was thinking about you today- hope things are a bit more settled for you. X

OP posts:
YashmisCrone · 05/01/2019 18:33

Ah. Typical when you want something specific BartonHollow I’ve always found substitutions and improvisations to work well too, so long as it symbolises the same thing to you then it’ll have the same effect IMO.

Another quiet day here- lovely. Caught up with a couple of friends and enjoyed pottering again- I think I could make a career out of it if only someone would pay me! That and experimenting with recipes. Yesterday was goats cheese, pear, walnut and rocket salad and today has been creamy mushroom and tarragon stroganoff. It’s all some kind of self care I guess! I do feel like I’m doing well with generating the kind of energy I want in myself.. I’m hoping it’ll provide a strong foundation for when I go back to work. Kind of like a bank of resilience.

Hope everyone’s had a good day

YashmisCrone · 05/01/2019 18:38

Ooh I love the sound of your charity shop treasures speakout! Absolutely my favourite type of shopping!

Good to see you BlankTimes 👋 It’s lovely to know you’re around. Excellent thoughts of finding ingredients for spells!
