If God never gives us more than we can handle

Why do so many people commit suicide? Clearly they were given way more than they could handle. It’s one of the main reasons I have totally lost any faith I had.

I think free will plays a big part. how often does pride stop people seeking help in various ways. Other peoples decisions (which we nor some higher power can control due to the free will) impact on our thoughts and feelings. It is up to the individual to find our way out of situations that bring us down. Its my belief that suicide does not take away the pain either as you still have to come to terms with the problems once you are in the afterlife albeit in a different way.

So someone who commits suicide because they're terminally ill, or say living with chronic mental health issues, they still have to deal with after death?

No. not at all. There is no physical pain. However the emotional pain sometimes has to be worked through. Knowing the pain the family is going through is still felt by the person who passed is also something they have to come to terms with.

And how do you know this is true? I want to believe as many true things as possible and as few untrue things as possible.

From looking at other peoples experiences. I'm a spiritualist.
