Any witches here?

Or Wiccans. or Pagans?

I was raised as a witch- my grandmother was born in 1890 and taught me how to scry, knotwork, many magical activities. She was a dresser of the dead and a lay midwife ( before the NHS).
I now practice my craft with enthusiasm.
A little tricky as my extended family are not supportive.

Hello catseyes! Smile I agree, we are!

lightonthewater · 29/07/2018 20:44

I would like to ask for help too please - I have a family member who has had a very difficult time. Depression, unemployment, low self esteem. Things have begun to turn around, but due to changes in living conditions, there is a danger it will all slide downhill again. How can I help to support and change this person's life for the better?

sockportal · 29/07/2018 20:49

@speakout please could you tell me a little bit more about your spell?

Thank you @Zapholdbeeblebrox I'll will get on with the freezer spell.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 29/07/2018 22:47

I have a hospital appointment tomorrow and felt the need to hold a bag of crystals given to me a few years ago, but I cannot find them at all Sad

The only thing I have is DDs rose quartz.

ShovingLeopard · 29/07/2018 23:28

Thanks so much, speakout, some lovely ideas there. I will be using them! I am definitely in need of some self-nurturing.

Funnily enough, my 3 year old insisted that her daddy bought me a lovely grapefruit and lily soap yesterday, so she must have known I needed something treaty and uplifting. My problem, I think, is that I need to take a leap of faith to move forward, and I'm too cautious to do it. I have even had a new animal guide show up, who I think is here to help with that, and I'm too scared at the moment to work with him (it's an animal I would run a million miles from in real life!). Courage needed!

ShovingLeopard · 29/07/2018 23:34

And so lovely that your kindness and giving has come back to you, speakout. It's so hard, at times, to keep giving out love, and keep our own vibrations high, when in difficult times, or surrounded by difficult/negative people. I'm glad you are now reaping what you've sown.

madcatladyforever · 29/07/2018 23:43

madcatladyforever morning!

Hi Speakout, I only just saw this, I haven't been on here for a while. I do run a coven but do most of my work (I am a medium) alone. as I am not a people person Smile

Zapholdbeeblebrox · 30/07/2018 08:05

Taking advantage of the waning moon to put two names in the freezer tonight to diminish their negative effect on my home and I’ve also tried out a little spell to blow away my anxieties. Sending good thoughts to those who need it today.

LARLARLAND · 31/07/2018 13:43

I have been so inspired by speakout and others on here that I bought some white sage inscense. It feels like everything is breaking down in my home at the moment, including the people so I thought it was worth a try. I took the smoke all around the house and the inscense stick was shaking like mad, which I thought was strange if not interesting. I may also do the names in the freezer things too.
Thanks again.

sockportal · 31/07/2018 16:46

@Zapholdbeeblebrox I've put the name in the freezer, whilst I was there I added another one. It felt quite therapeutic!

LARLARLAND · 31/07/2018 17:15

I did the names in the freezer spell and started with one and ended up with three Blush

As well as everything breaking in the house we also seem to be failing a team everything we try. Any ideas why and any solutions would be gratefully received Smile

speakout · 31/07/2018 17:33

SheStoodInTheStorm so glad you got positive news at your appointment.

Sounds like the Rose Quartz was exactly what you needed!

Zapholdbeeblebrox

Thanks for the besom decoration ideas!

I am loving these frozen spells.

I have done a similar one in winter time outside when it is cold.
Write down my worries and freeze them out.

I noticed the golden light when I woke outside, the first twinkles of autumn scent in the air.
I have a window ledge full of golden sunflowers. The summer is starting to feel heavy and full.
Change is in the air.

Any witches here?

I have three huge sycamore sisters who live just outside my garden boundary and protect the back of my house.

Three huge trees who watch over us and protect us.
Like having a ancient powerful guards.

Happy Lammas/Lughnasa!

I've been following this lovely, enriching thread from the beginning, and have had a name-change to come and wave at you all.

I'd love to post more later when my thoughts have stopped pouring out so fast that I can barely make sense of them!

speakout · 01/08/2018 10:29

Happy Lammas to everyone!

Thought I would share today's altar with you all! Local honey, local beer and fresh baked bread and grains. Roll on Autumn!
