The yurt dawns into bud

Early paps has discovered this name via a dream and so I post the new yurt thread here.

Today I draw in my reserves of strength and sit in silent contemplation of all around me with a crackling fire for company. The world is still and ghostly with pale wreaths of fog and the smoke of my fire melts into the mists.

THosa naughty pixies Paps! Hope youa re feeling like dancing today as I have planned a celebratory spring fest in the glade to welcome the sun and light our new paths.

I am fishing today with the dolphins who are helping me catch the fish in a dophin friendly way! The sun is glistening on the water and further out the whales play and swim.

I am in fact in the mood for dancing, but first I am booked in with the trolls for a mud herbal soak, then a massage with the Tantric fairies. Will then be in the mood for lots of sensuous divine dancing.

Will pop by the eternal kitchens of pixie where trainee spiritual Yurt followers are baking magical cookies good for levitation air dancing when the feet are sore from earth dancing.

glitterfairy · 22/02/2007 21:09

That sounds great Paps. I told someone by text today I was off fairy and wheat of course I meant dairy and apologise to the fairie folk in the lands.

Putting my sprouts on now and then off to bed to sleep peacefully in my new room amongst the clouds. My pillows are spun fairy silk and my bed is jewel bright with silk from the worms which live in the depth of the forest. At night the nightingale sings to me and reminds me of my many dream lives yet to come and takes me to places I have yet to visit.

I've seen this thread several times and every time I thought it was titled "The Yurt Turns Bad."

I wondered what was going on

Papillon · 24/02/2007 07:20

The mud herbal wrap was wonderful and the kids enjoyed rolling around naked making mud slides while the donkeys watched on.

My feet are tired afew so much dancing, so I am going to sleep awhile in my thistledown Bong tree, until the sun goes down. Then I will fly with the ravens on the blue black road of magic sending messages of creative intention.

glitterfairy · 24/02/2007 08:26

Energy is infusing me today and I am leaving the forest to walk in the mountains with a friend and my animal totems.

The sky is blue and the sun is shining and I have a small rucksack packed full of fairy cakes and water from the forest springs.

The snow is still heavy on the tops of the mountains but on the lower slopes spring is coming. The air is clear up here and I cna see the lands spread out below me.

Esmeralda has sought me out for a companionable day of dwaddling, trotting and hanging about under trees doing not alot except thistle eating and gazing up through my fingers at the skyscapes.

Once we arrive, we plan to meet with Aldruc who is back in the land of Yurt, his beard is very long and needs trimming. I have offered to manicure it for him, but he has promised I can lie it first, while he tells me stories of his sojourns in distant realms.

glitterfairy · 28/02/2007 08:59

Ah, the lovely esmerelda who has been going a little wild this winter.

The winds are fresh and strong today and so I am going out on a gallop so that tears stream down my face in the wind and the breath catches.

I shall roam the prairie and then come back to a fire in the library and some toasted crumpets.

Today I am strolling about the lands watching for signs of spring.

Wihtin the forest I came upon an open galde and daffodils starting to show a little yellow on their buds. The catkins are out and there are patches of blossom on some of the whitethorn trees. The becks are full of rain water and gurgling down between mossy banks to the great river where the children still have a tyre swing for the summer out to the pool they play in.

My animal friends are with me today and tell me it is too early for blackbirds nests but that the birds are starting to look for places to go. The golden hind is happy and for once in a playful mood and my golden eagle friend is soaring overhead in the clear blue sky.

I am bringing my poorly children into the yurt as I know that they will feel much better here.

[breathes deeply] Yes I and too feel better already.

DS2 (6) is horribly poorly with a viral fluey thing but here the air is so balmy that I can see it doing him good in front my eyes. His breathing is easier already. And poor DD (8) who is very uncomfortable with chickenpox, is already kicking off her socks and asking to run to the shore for a paddle in the warm sea.

I think we'll stay here

Does anyone have any other lovely spiritual healing gifts from this gorgeous place to recommend for my poorly family? (Plus something for my sinuses?? )

And are there still unicorns here I wonder?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 04/03/2007 13:40

DS is now resting in a hammock and has fallen asleep. His breathing is slower than it has been in 4 days. I am sitting next to him enjoying the breeze. I can see DD with her jeans rolled up splashing about in the water and laughing. So nice to be out.

glitterfairy · 06/03/2007 07:49

Hleeo shiny and family. I am gald the balmy air is doing you all good. I bring berries from the woods for a juice with lemons from the grove for vitamin C and strength. I also bring a jar of honey from Papillon which she left here whilst enjoying a journey over the sea.

The unicorns have become a little shy but you can still see them at full moon and they were out in force during the eclipse. AS the orangey red moon hung in the sky they laid their horns together and danced in the glade.

Hi Glitterfairy! [waves] (I'm SleepyJess btw)

Oh wow, would have loved to have seen that; the unicorns during the eclipse.

My visit to the yurt did me a lot of good, and DD too, but DS is still very very poorly with this viral thing (like flu but the doctor said not). He has no energy at all and whereas he normally charges about chaotically on his hands and knees (he is 6 but has CP) all he can do is lay in a chair, watch a bit of TV and then sleep. I am quite worried about him but trying to be calm as I know he did was the same this time last year and it's only time that helps him recover. (Although he is now on antibiotics but for the infected skin under his nose rather than his overal condition which is unlikely to respond to anti bs.)

I am going to carry him back to the yurt and put him back in the hammock which is swaying gently in the warm breeze and when he wakes up he can have some of the honey and lemon from you and Paps. Thank you

I love this place I defy anyone who lurks not to see it in their mind's eye.. even Cod, who I see breezed by below.

Papillon · 06/03/2007 20:08

Greetings and wonderful to see you here SJ Sorry to hear your son is poorly

Bella your unicorn is a good friend of Esmeralda my donkey friend and often they frolick and canter amongst the trees, out into the meadow to chomp the herbal mulch.

I bring wild blackberries freshly picked this morning, the dew still on their skins. In fact there are so many there is going to be a foot orgy festival to mash the berries into wine. So wear short skirts and flowers in your hair and prepare for the wildness the berries will infuse us with as the melt between our toes.

Papillon · 06/03/2007 20:10

was reading yesterday about the Eclipse on the Jonathan Cainer site...

Emotional Eclipse

The Moon governs 'emotion'. As it waxes and wanes, our deepest feelings intensify or diminish much as tides rise and fall. During a lunar eclipse, though, it is as if we are briefly cut off from that profound, primeval pull. The earth's shadow becomes a veil, preventing the Moon from touching our hearts so strongly. That leaves us free to think about what we are allowing to excite or upset us. During the eclipse, and for up to two weeks afterwards, we all get a breathing space; a chance to control our emotions instead of letting them control us.

suzycreamcheese · 06/03/2007 20:33

enjoyed reading this thread!!

ya nutters....

papillion like the emotional eclipse passage..then saw jonathon cainer! never seems to say much more than phone my hotline...

glitterfairy · 06/03/2007 22:29

THank you for the evening air it is wonderful cooling and relaxing with smells of green growing things and the earth starting to stir.

IN RL in about a month I will drive over the moors with my window down to smell that smell once again.

Shinyhappy, fab name by the way but a little long so am shortening it and hope you dont mind. THe blackberry wine may help your little wine get some good sleep and refresh himself but only a little drop as knowing paps it will be super potent.

Paps I am enjoying crushing berries and my skirt is purple to match the juice.

thats the essence of the spiritual revolution suzy... you gotta pay for it. Unless you are a secret squirrel and know the good forums to find it out for free and put abit of leg work in at same time

this counts for 3 portions ya know... Franny will be impressed.

Good clothing point Glitter, have changed into a purple bikini with tassles.

suzycreamcheese · 06/03/2007 22:57

papillion..no, when the REAL spirtual revolution takes place no charlatans will dare to make a penny peice from it..

....er, so mystic meg says anyway!!

Papillon · 06/03/2007 23:39

mystic meg, how much she charge a minute? Spiritual revolution, this planet seemingly is not designed that way. Its the capitalist spiritual revolution manifested by the people in the form of the FATHER. The Mother of Creation whose essence is called 'Will' now she might not charge us, if anyone brave enough to dial 0900-HELL

I need a siesta from blackberry stomping and will lie under the bong tree glowing in soft lavander.

Papillon · 06/03/2007 23:42

Here is a free channel..

this

spin the bottle and you get a nutter well I'm interested even if the rest of the world ain't!

glitterfairy · 07/03/2007 07:35

THat is one hell of a site paps weird and spooky!

What will be will be in my opinion. We can only change ourselves.

THe blackberry wine is looking beautiful and now is going into oak vats to mature in the cellars of the yurt where the fruit wines simmer and steep. Last night I uncorked some elderflower champagne and sat in the glow of the stars sipping and stirring my bonfire made from the clippings of the yew and apple trees which needed pruning. I like pruning I think those that dont are afriad of death.

I am needing alot of WILLPOWER at the moment. So heading all to see Aldruc with some blackberry wine, blackberry honey and blackberries.

He has made bread and the cheese he has been working on is ready for testing. The holes in it are portals to other REALMS. Apparently if we can't fit back through the cheese when its time to come back we are stuffed. Taking magic carpet as backup.

glitterfairy · 08/03/2007 07:49

Give my love to Aldruc and tell him that we are planning a big feast at the spring solstice to celebrate the true budding of the yurt.

The leaves are starting to come out and the bright green is a vivid reminder that spring is just around the corner.

Today I am going on a journey on my horse and have taken provisions to make a camp out on the prairie tonight as I fancy sleeping under the stars and meditating alone on the wide plains.
