sibble · 31/05/2004 07:56

hi all, am in need of serious chilling so have packed DS off to the creche and am off, towel under arm for a few lengths in the pool then a long soak in teh spa followed by a massage and general pampering. Promise to drink plenty of water during the day so will finish the day with a few glasses of wine on the deck watching the sun go down until DH arrives to drive DS and myself home - Ds will have had such a great time with his friends in teh creche he will fall asleep in teh car on teh way home and DH will cook me a fantastic meal whcih we will eat outside under teh stars by candlelight - oh for the virtual life!!!

bunnyrabbit · 01/06/2004 19:50

Oh papillon I would have joined you in the virtual theatre had I known. Did you enjoy it?

Anyone fancy a marathon sitting of all 3 Lord of the Ring films?

Will need a large amount of popcorn!! Is virtual popcorn fattening?

BR

papillon · 01/06/2004 20:47

Bunnyrabbit virtual popcorn is not all fattening!!

LoTR - mmm lots of fast fighting scenes which did my eyeballs in abit... there is so much story line that they could have included instead of all the swift bloodthirsty stuff... I love the Ents.. and really enjoyed them in no. 2.

still I am keen for a back to back at the virtual theatre... by the time no. 3 starts I will probably be snoring in the back row anyway

papillon · 05/06/2004 15:33

Well it has been raining in RL today so I have come in for abit of sunshine, relaxation and a chin wag.

Had a interesting day yesterday. After shooting the breeze with a muggle and glitter I got on a bus and in front of me was an advert for harry potter. I looked at the window as we went past a shop called Papillon...
then on our walk we meet up by chance with some people we we did an ante natel class with who have the same names as us!

how was your night out with the girlies Sibble?

glitterfairy · 06/06/2004 01:06

Here is the glitter part paps back home and in the house. Yes Melsy it was work. Loved the tea and echinathingy (cant spell it) did the trick on blocked nose due to hotel air con. Enjoyed our chat yesterday in the airport have to say that the Irish government provide the internet wireless and free in their airport which is superb. Hurray for the Irish! The little people were out in force and have bought back a fairy ring for the garden with a giant toadstool, a little rainbow and a pot of gold.

papillon · 06/06/2004 14:58

Hey Glitter the new additions to our space are great and I am just off to rainbow bathe. I sense that you have gone caving this week and might need abit of extra light so will encourage some rainbow rays your way

I have been focusing alot of the Alexander Technique the last few days and can feel the benefit already.
Have not taken the donkey out or afew days and he has been getting chubby in the nettle patch so I am off for a trot along the cliffs.

gothicmama · 06/06/2004 16:04

how was the trot am in spa room although may visit rainbows later how are all you people. hopefull catch upproperly later

papillon · 06/06/2004 17:02

came back early due to a gusty rainshower blowing me & esmeralda about. thank goodness we could shelter under the rainbow.
now off to take a new type of nap - 5 minutes = 5 hours - I am having 15 minutes

where is Melsy - are you all blissed out under the pot of gold

papillon · 06/06/2004 17:11

melsy · 06/06/2004 17:30

Nearly all contents emptied !!! I enjoyed a little spendinf spree this morning. I cant wait to read my new Thomas Moore book whilst sitting in the relaxation room. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH big sigh of calm. Hi all my fave people.

melsy · 06/06/2004 17:46

I will put it back , just needed some retail therapy today , the other Melsy came out to play today and needed to get some renewing things!!!

I will sit on the deck in the warm sun and meditate in lotus position and contemplate my need not to share more today.OOOPPPPPss. May be my higher spirit felt I needed something nice back after being selfless and forgoing sleep for my dd.

OP posts:
papillon · 06/06/2004 17:51

We want a share of the bounty!

off to have a bath with some nice frankinsense oil

papillon · 06/06/2004 17:54

hopefully Glitter bought a refillable pot that replenishes upon every rainbow?

that way we can all go shopping!

melsy · 06/06/2004 18:35

Now thats an idea I likeeee , we can then all dip in and more magically reappaears.

Frankincense oil is here in a HUGE pot for all to enjoy in abundance. Hey lets pour some in the hot tub. Can you smell it in the steam rising??? breathe in ................... aaaaaaaaaahhh and breath out. Now who would like to borrow my new top and knecklace?? When ive fininshed with my books I ll leave them in the library for others to. Ohh and I have some great films on dvd , howsa about a screening of possesion with gwynnie in the cinema ??? Get your popcorn & candy floss ready !!!

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 06/06/2004 20:55

OK lets get this straight the pot is definately magic and replenishes. However, only when spent etnirely on you and not on kids or babies or dhs! It has to be frivolous, luxurious and gorgeous and melsy you probably need some more! Hi everyone and gothicmama especially. Paps am out from my cave and liked the new thread especially the repetition CAve awful today and really thought I would go mad but now in steaming bath with calming music, candles and some more nettle tea. Am off to get a reiki session from sibble to calm my shattered ballet nerves now!

melsy · 06/06/2004 21:07

, said in harry enfields pal tone of voice !!!,only stuff for me amd more !!!Awww glitter you and that ballet !!It doesnt exist here. Did I miss something with the cave ??? is it anything to do with men are from mars or am I barking up the wrong magic tree ??!!!

So is this pot of gold our metaphor for positive energy !??!!

Its raining beyond our deck, but I love the rain as it makes everything greener. But we are all hot a and cosy in the hot tub with our hot drinks!!!

OP posts:
melsy · 06/06/2004 21:08

yes paps the thread, is kinda like a mantra for our times.

glitterfairy · 06/06/2004 21:13

Well melsy mother of the spirit world (Said in glittery falsetto) have to say the cave is a crack at the fact that all this week we are rehearsing for the show!!!!!! This means mums like me camping in a basement, dressing fraught kids and doing hair and make up. Only made better by a close friend who rand me to say she had seen my son running down the corridor of the cave looking like a young neureyev with wild hair and a jungle outfit on and was blown away as he was lit up with joy! So must be worth it just for them eh?
