The Yurt in blossom

I dive off the cliff into the lake and swim with dd and the dolphins. Then we go ashore to the fire by the forest and keep warm with the tigers and mannikin Tigermoth.

The noises of Fasnacht are sending away winter and after food we will join them in costome and song.

I did energy work on a friend yesterday glitter and one side of his body felt different from the other.. a fragile and dense feeling. Glad it made you visit the yurt :)

hmm think Ill have to have a good think about that paps and see what I feel comes to me as a vision of the best place. I feel different things each moment.So indecisive this pregnancy!

Glitterfairy I love the idea of the yurt at the base of the mountain and the energy it can give. Sounds a wonderful experience your therapy ,what kind is it?

hi all

energy work is so draining I find but maybe cos it always seesm to involve negative energy when I do it. feeling very calm gothic boy is on the deck enjoying the sun ( his wolf is watching over him) and I am walking in the mountains gothicchild is running wild in the meadow looking for lady birds with the kestrels keeping watch. Glitter hope you feel good today

yes I feel alittle knocked out today from it, cos being doing it on ds, or slept like a log last night - so he is benefitting which is good. He loves it and likes to hung upside down. He hangs from his tiger and circles in anticipation of babies on the deck and wolverine conversation.

Glitter was it hypno therapy or visualation?

My therapist does NLP, and cognitive behaviour stuff as well as hypnosis. She was inducing a trance like state and asking me to identify my two sides. One is firey and spikey, (K2) and the other cosy earth mother and I established the two together as the yurt as base camp protecting the climbers from the wrath of the mountain and the severe climb.

It was really interesting and helpful and I reclaimed my firey side without being ashamed of it or trying to hide it. I am reading lots of budhist books at the moment and they are teaching me to accept my whole self and all my feelings including the parts I always thought of as bad or difficult. My therapist talked to both sides of me before we did this work. We invited them into the room and spoke together.

I like the idea that every part of me has positive intentions which is what NLP says. I just find it difficult to accept! Smile

I am climbing in the mountain today and using an ice axe for the first time I feel free and high above the world.

Ok I am collecting wood for a Beltane fire is anyone going to help? I have also decorated a Maypole in the meadow.

dd will play with the ribbons for the maypole, then run with the children in the meadow playing games.
ds, the tiger, esmeralda and I go collect wood.

We also gather early pollen to dust the maypole with, natures glitter and scents will twirl together.

LOl we were so entranced that we kept on watching it grow will post my dds efforts on later. We are lighting candles tonight and having a small fire in the grate rather than a big outdoor one.

Here in the lands I have now amassed a huge pile of wood. Thanks Paps and esmerelda all of it cut so that the trees are healthy and only old and damaged branches are being burnt so that renewal can begin. The children have chosen fairy clothes made from green cloth and are decorating the yurt with fresh spring leaves.

we are all prepared here it is beautiful I think of us all merging at times like this ti create teh yurt from the corners of our lives like a patchwork quilt we interweave the fabric of our imaginations and souls

that is a nice image gothic, the patchwork quilt :) I go today to watch and help the children make a mosiac, a patchwork of garden to celebrate the fruitfulness of life. Read this about Beltane and children this morning,
...the earthliness of creation, and even the celebration of our "young shoots"

The mosiac is part of honouring the Faeries, as today the Yurt and its inhabitants make new homes for them from fallen branches and natures supplies.

"Sticks and stones will make Faerie homes!!"

I like the idea so much that this afternoon I will go with the children to the forest for supplies to make a fairy house to attract faeries to our home :)

My kids have made fairy grottos in the garden today inspired by this and in the rocks have built little caves and wooden dwellings for our garden fairies who have never before been so blessed. Let us hope they reply by blessing us all back as a family this year and for the rest of our time here.

These caves and wooden huts are also all around the lands today and the yurt looks magical and blessed with sparkling stones in the sunshine.

dd enjoyed making her fairy and she made a little home in random 2.5 year old fashion in the park for it :)

I hope it gives the Park blessings :) it means the faires are about playing with the children!

Hope you all enjoyed yesterday we saw the snow queen defeated by the green man and then it rained hailed and teh sun came out. I had my aura cleansed and aquired a singing bowl so I am inthe yurt practising cleansing and meditation

Blossom and trees are coming out in my road now just a dream I think I told you about a long time ago when I was at a very low ebb! It is very pretty and fresh and the sky is blue.

In the lands I am sitting in a hot pool and enjoying a cool glass of fairy champagne. It is a little sweeter than the earths variety. I am munching on some mushrooms that have been grilled on a fire.

I have just read the lovely email you sent glitter and of course it was for me about the lands we have made, the dreams we share and the insights we reveal.

I have been such a regular visitor, life is full my children and our activities, even now baby paps is clambering all over me wanting attention.

But I think of this place and of you all in and out of seasons.

Today I ride Esmeralda and pass by my favourite places, have a wee slumber in the Yurt then tonight I supp on the deck - eating red grapes and golden melons, fine breads and delicate wines of rose and peach nectars.

Love all you names as they sort of glide, but I am a bit confused.

Is there a definition to a Yurt. Is this a visualization thread. Would love to join in if I knew what it was and if I was welcome Smile

Hi Learning

MN has abit of a history with the Yurt. It was created before I came along and was a chill out spot/thread away from heated threads, which used to happen heaps more. Everyone would come in and be mellow.

Then the spiritual board got up and running and the Yurt was resurrected and delved into for more than just chilling. A Yurt in RL is a Mongolian Tent.. which is round and inhabited by Mongolian nomads.

Our lands are a form of visualisation (creative or otherwise), sharing our in whatever comes to pass. Its open ended chat, that can be anything you wish to share :) Some of us have known each other online for about 2 years, some come, some go... its a seasonal Yurt (aye Glitter!)

There have been quite afew threads about the Yurt.. Bong land etc if you want to read back.
