It is 5.08AM. Aillidh is with us still, with sats that have remained in the 70s for the night, even when moved, and a stable pulse, and pupils reacting normally to light stimulus.

Have been reading, hoping and praying along with the rest of the world, but, felt now the time was right to say something too.

Everyone undergoing treatment have good and bad days. I'm praying Ailidh that this spells the end of the bad days and gradually your little body continues its long journey of healing.

You have shown tremendous fighting spirit, Ailidh. Leah and family, you must be so so proud of your little warrior. Great news that the nurse who predicted the worst is there tonight to be proven wrong and to witness for herself never to underestimate the power of love and healing for this precious child.

Thoughts continue to be with you all. Keep talking to her, play her favourite music, talk about all the silly day to day things that's going on. She might have a good laugh at our wonderful summer Smile.

Never give up believing guys.

justonemorethread · 06/07/2012 20:42

Ailidh, it must be lovely to be able to rest, I am happy that you are comfortable. I pray and hope that this rest is healing you. Pray and hope, even when it seems no hope is left. Thinking of the rainbow that was pictured above your hospital.
How you must hate it in there. Yet you hold on, steady. You are special, so special. Words on a screen do not even come close to describing.

bizzey · 06/07/2012 20:44

Grin at the same nurse !

I can see aillidh turning into a stuborn teenager who will not listen to anyone else..as she will always be right and not listen to adults !!!!

Though I am sure the nurse will be so pleased to have been proved wrong !

Mintyy · 06/07/2012 20:44

ColinFirthsGirth · 06/07/2012 20:54

May the blessing of light be on you
Light without and light within
May the blessed sunlight shine upon you and warm your heart
Till it grows like a great fire,
And strangers may warms themselves as well as friends.
And may the light shine out of the eyes of you
Like a candle set in the window of a house
Bidding the wanderer to come in out of the storm
May you ever have a kindly greeting for people
As you're going along the roads.
And now may the Lord bless you
And bless you kindly

Amen

Hundreds of people are praying for you, willing you to get better. Things looked so desperate last night, I hope you've turned the corner. Inch by inch make your way home to your family and get better.

SharonGless · 06/07/2012 21:07

I've been shouting less at the tennis than I usually do.
Seems rather trivial.

I can't send you quite as good a sunset, but it has stopped raining.
May tomorrow bring you brighter sky's too! X

Badvoc · 06/07/2012 21:17

The sun has come out!
And the church bells are ringing.
I am thinking of you all x
