No news at the moment since the last update.

I will post it again here in case anyone missed it tho.

"Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday."

Thanks for the update. I have been thinking a lot about A and her family all day and continue to hope and pray for her recovery. Wishing comfort and strength to them all - and indeed to all other families who are or have been similarly affected.

Acute Myeloid Leukaemia - Aillidh's Search For A Donor

Now, an Aillidh update. She is on oscillated ventilation and is having dialysis on her kidneys to hopefully purge her of the fluid in her lungs and save her life. BUT, do not despair, the news is not all bad. There are NO new bugs in her lungs. She has cleared all but the metapneumo virus. So we must pull together now, they have given her every drug possible. We must, must pray, chant, what have you that her lungs CLEAR for her to have a fighting chance of life. And that she engrafts. Please. This little girl has unfinished business here. She is tired but we are strong. 'Do not be afraid. Simply have faith.' Much love to you all.
